| Answer: | Having 40 plus tanks for a rescue I use several types of these anywhere from 25 to 100 feet. Trick I learned is make sure to fill the hose like your going to fill the tank from the sink faucet.Turn of the water. Place the siphon/vacuum in the tank water. Open the valves to vaccum the gravel or tank qith the water on like normal. Thus will hwlpnstart the natural siphon easier and you won't lose suction this way. I have done this with low pressure sinks. Also the attachment for the sink isn't the best and you can buy one like the other brands that works better and just use this hose and vacuum. |
