| Answer: | It won't hurt to try using GU, but you should have enough liver and muscle glycogen to fuel a workout that short. Google "Mendosa Glycemic Index" and pick anything higher than 90 and eat it. Fuel problem solved. I doubt that's the problem though, as you indicate fatigue during the workout. I would RX 400mg of CoQ10 every day. Double that dose the first week. That should allow your heart to work harder with less fatigue. You might also try L-Carnosine, or the Rocktane product. I'm not a doctor. YMMV. All of this assumes you aren't fatigued from simply being out of condition. Pick up a copy of "Fast After 50" by Joe Friel. I think AMZN sells it. In general, fatigue comes from doing more work between rest than your body is conditioned for. Start wherever you're at and continue to ramp up the duration and intensity. I'm 64 and recently did a 70mi bike ride that took 6hrs - 4:45 moving time - no problem. "Wherever you're at, that's where you are" Begin.... |

| Answer: | I used this in a gigabyte aero with the same cpu and gpu you have. Both are solid copper heat pipe direct touch to die and the results are phenomenal. Dropped about 12c off idle and 8c full load. The best part is the idle / lightly loaded temp drops because the fan is much less annoying. Do make sure your laptop HS is actually copper and use as little as possible. The 1660ti will have exposed surface transistors next to the die that you have to be completely sure you don't get any of this on due to conductivity but I mitigated this by using a thermal pad with a square cut out in the middle the exact size of the die so any squeeze out would just run onto the pad instead of onto the surface transistors. I did multiple applications and removal under full clamp pressure to ensure no excess liquid metal would squeeze past the thermal pad. All things considered just be really careful. |

| Answer: | I've used it on my 980ti with the stock blower and it's just okay at best. Saw a 3 degree difference but didn't really scientifically test the card with new thermal paste also. Left it on for 5 months and decided to check it out, the liquid metal started etching itself into the aluminum base on the cooler. The die was okay, no noticable etching. |

| Answer: | Of course, sure. But be careful especially in laptop that if you may take it out, since it is conductive, the rest of "liquid metal" between the chips die and the heatsink copper will be overflowed out.(It is really something like as liquid) Eventually, it will be "leakage" out. Thus, you need to doing something such as using extra-thin "double-side" tape to adhere the surroundings on the chipset, that is between the chips PCB(not die area) and the heatsink copper, it is far more safer and better. I used liquid metal in my 3 laptops so far, 2 laptops are in case of leakage and make some troublesome to clean and re-paste, so you need to take extra care if you will go out with the laptop. I actually use double-side tape and epoxy to fix between the chipset and the heatsink. Although it is void warranty, but it is far far far safest. Since, after used some time, lets say 6-9 months, if there is any little bit movement between the die and the heatsink, the effect of the paste will be degraded dramatically. |
