Answer:	For health reasons this is wonderful stuff. Wife uses it for appetite suppression and it works. Your kids will bennifit in those areas. As for a comparable "sweet" syrupt, yacon is no where as sweet as any of the pancake syrups. If your kids are use to low or very little sugar, they might like it!

Answer:	Yes, you can try it but it doesn’t have that effect on everyone. Unfortunately it doesn’t have that effect on me but I still use it for the health benefits. FYI It has about the same calories as sugar an honey so even if you are in my camp, you won’t be taking in more calories. I know one person that did lose a little weight (6lbs) with only this change in her eating habits.

Answer:	Before I could finish the second bottle, a fine sugary substance settled to the bottom and I could only get it out by keeping the bottle lying on its side and poking it with a knife. I got the last bits out with hot coffee. It wasn't very sweet, though it was a very nice flavor, like brown sugar but the 2 bottles certainly didn't help with weight loss. I won't try any more yacon syrup, if that's what it was.
