Answer:	Feels like a thick very slippery oil so a little goes a long way. Washes off well so it's not oily. Def more liquid than a gel. Wish it was a little thicker so it wouldn't be so likely to drip off your hand while moving from the bottle to the intended area. Not as runny as those that are described as 'liquid'. You might try a thin plastic drop cloth between the towels and the bedding. Of course there are no stains if we don't use the lub.
