Answer:	Taking a speed typing course? I don't really know how to respond to this question, I'm sorry but maybe I'm just not understanding what you mean by "How can I make keyboard go faster//??? Answer:	It sure will. That is how you charge the battery up also, but it will work like a usb keyboard.

Question:	are the keys the same as the keys on the macbook pro
Answer:	The newer MacBooks have a butterfly mechanism, which provides for very short travel and a firm feel, but which has had problems with dirt getting under the keys and incapacitating the keyboard. Apple may or may not have fixed this with a dirt barrier in the 2018 version. The magic keyboard has a scissor mechanism, which has proven to be reliable, and it has been reengineered for a shorter travel. It takes some getting used to, but I'm really getting to like it. Here's how Apple describes the mechanism: "A scissor mechanism beneath each key allows for increased stability, while optimized key travel and a low profile provide a comfortable and precise typing experience."
Question:	Can the magic keyboard and magic mouse be used at the same time with the same MacBook Pro
Answer:	Yes, you can pair multiple devices to host system. Just be aware that the more bluetooth devices you pair (especially older ones and new ones at the same time) the bluetooth can lag because it keeps switching the different bluetooth revisions. Normally it's not too bad but every once in a while it will freeze for a moment on my Mac (and in the tech logs it talks about bluetooth connectivity failed to connect, but it clears in a minute. If you have more than one computer or device where you would want to use the keyboard (such Apple TV) they can be paired with multiple devices but you must switch the input or turn bluetooth off (or disable the device) on the one you don't want to use the keyboard at present. This is only an issue if both the laptop & Mac are both turned on at the same time and within bluetooth range of each other.

If you connect this keyboard's recharging cable through to a computer's USB port, the keyboard can still be used on a computer without Bluetooth (such as many Windows desktop PC's). That is also how the keyboard can still be used if the battery dies and needs recharging just before a work deadline. Note the included cable is relatively short, so a USB extension cable would be required for an enduring cable run going all the way behind a desk and down to a computer on the floor.

Instructions:

1. Insert 2 x AA batteries

2. Switch on the operating systems of your device (Mac OS X by default operating system Switch on the backside of the keyboard)

3. Switch on the wireless mode of your device (connection switch on the backside of the keyboard)

4. For 2.4 GHz wireless connection put the receiver to the computer USB port and the keyboard is ready to be utilized.

If you choose Bluetooth connection:

1. Switch to BT on the backside of the keyboard press the connect button for three seconds.

Search the keyboard on your computer by the name Periboard-612.



Indicator Instructions:

To save power when using number lock or caps lock the lights would turn off after 30 seconds. When the function keys are used again The default is the last used status. When the power supply is less than 5%. The red indicator will flash for 10 seconds.

Note -if you would like to use the Bluetooth option, make sure that your computer supports Bluetooth 4.0. Wireless 2.4 GHz is recommended for devices running Windows 7, 8, and 10.

Question:	Can you adjust the angle of the keyboard
Answer:	Unfortunately there are no angle adjustments on the underside of the keyboard but I felt that the angle was good for my typing and I alternate between sitting and standing.

Question:	Can this be used for a computer without chrome OS
Answer:	Yes, it works on Mac OS 10.10 or later and Windows 7, 8, 10 or later, as long as you have a USB port for it's little unifying receiver.
Question:	I have bluetooth, but what does the usb connector do with no cord to connect it. do i take it out and plug it into my laptop
Answer:	You don't need the USB dongle at all if you have a device that can connect via Bluetooth. Just leave the dongle in the keyboard's holder under the battery cover. Use the dongle to connect the keyboard to a device without Bluetooth, or a device with Bluetooth where you don't want to use Bluetooth because Bluetooth doesn't always work as well especially with Windows 10.

Question:	Does this work with all smart TVs
Answer:	I have the Samsung UN75JU6500 TV. I could never get the TV to show the keyboard when trying to set it up. I have the Bluetooth receiver plugged in. While trying to get it set up I accidentally touched a key on the keyboard and the TV responded. So I started trying to use the keyboard and it works. I have only tried it with the browser and You Tube, but it seems to work with both. I purchased the reconditioned version of the keyboard.
Question:	Are the red Fn labels also backlit? If not, does this substantially affect usability in the dark
Answer:	No, the red Fn labels are not backlit. Notably, the Fn key at the bottom right of the keyboard and F1-F12, Power, and Bluetooth are not visible in the dark. The Function keys at the top of the keyboard ARE backlit, but only the special functions are backlit, not the F1, etc. labeling. That hasn't caused me any significant problems as I don't generally look for them.
Question:	Does this have a Fn lock function so that the top row of keys acts like F1 - F12 without having to hold the Fn button down

Question:	can i connect with one computer with unifying receiver and another with bluetooth and keep switching between the two as needed
Answer:	no you cannot seamlessly switch between Unifying Receiver Mode and Bluetooth mode. After you have paired the device in bluetooth mode, it remains in bluetooth mode until you turn it off. when you turn it back on again, it is in Unifying Receiver mode until you pair it again. Absolutely ridiculous design. there is no button to switch between Bluetooth and U.R. mode.
