Pads need to seal flush with the skin, air gaps caused by hair, joints, wrinkles etc. will cause the pad to arc, sending a shock ( or bite ). Answer:	There are only six, but there are 4 different levels for each of the six. I was a bit confused by this also, and they are a bit deceptive to advertise 24 different modes. You just go to a mode selector (the "M") and as you click it you will see the numbers `1,2,3,4 appear. That will enable you to select the mode level you find best for you.

Answer:	It will be a Lifetime warranty if purchased direct or from their Amazon store, and you register within a 30 day period. You must contact them for an RMA and You must pay cost of shipping unit to Ca. and include a $11.99 return shipping fee. Not that great of a warranty after all. IMHO. For a few dollars more you can purchase a new unit. I suspect that's what their counting on.

Answer:	It doesn't! I have a tens 7000 and got this for the rechargeable battery. There is no Normal mode on this. Each mode is a minor variation on low intensity ramping to high then pause and repeat. Adjusting the power is a lot of clicking! And some times it's too low but just one click and it's too high, there's no in between. I have no idea why this has such high reviews. If you've used a tens 7000 you're going to find yourself disappointed in this.

Answer:	It depends on which ones you get. My unit came with 1 package of 4. They lasted about 3 to 4 uses. (But I will have them on all day) If you buy more gel pads, get the brand that comes in your kit. The cheaper ones tend to be very sticky and the gel comes off on your hands and leaves a residue on your body. They don’t last as long.

I am going to run through a few suggested troubleshooting options for you, then offer you our Customer Therapy Support line for more trouble shooting and warranty options. We want to make this right for you. 1. When plugging in the lead wires to channel 1 and/or 2, make sure that they are fully pushed down. The post of the plug should be all the way in. 2. Make sure the Pins of the lead wires are fully pushed into the pig tail connector of the lead wires. No bare metal should be visible. 3. Electrodes should be placed a minimum of 2" apart and a maximum or 6" 4. Make sure the skin where your pads are being placed is clean and free of oils, lotions and excess hair. These will limit the pads from making a full connection and closing the circuit. If the circuit is not "closed" the device does have a safety feature that will shut it off to prevent injury. Answer:	I bought this straight out as my hubby has a bum back between l4 and l5 - this thing seriously does the trick he could be hunched over in pain put this on and within 15 minutes he is not pain free but he can actually move himself around - I was scared to use it myself as my back is messed up from the neck to the tailbone and one night i was in so much pain i could not sleep so i put it on and went thru the first 15 minutes and then turned it back on and needless to say i woke up several hours later so i had gotten comfortable enough to fall asleep within the next 15 minute run cycle

Even the instructions admonish you to stay with manufacturer's recommendations, namely their products. I found these to be the "official" replacement pads: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0714QJVJ3/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AO8EPLSXLSOI2&th=1 However, the ones you listed look like they have the same snap connection system, but you do run the risk of something being damaged if you run two accessories that haven't been compatibility tested. Question:	Does this include the pictured hard plastic case? If not, how much will the hard plastic case cost
Answer:	ours came with the hard plastic case. it has a foam insert with cut outs for the units and wires to all fit in place.
Question:	I have been using Tens 7000 since February of this year and it worked fine until yesterday. Now, the display is working but there is no pulse/life in
Answer:	The first thing I do is check that my Tens Unit pads are sticking well. If not, it's probably time to replace them. FYI.. I've found that storing my pads in the refrigerator between uses will extend the life of the pads. Secondly, I replace my battery. I've also noticed that if I'm experiencing too much "salt intake" swelling at the application site, my unit won't be able to work properly until the swelling goes down. I hope this info helps you.
Question:	Need lead wires for tens
Answer:	Are you saying that you need lead wires, or do these items need lead wires? If you need them, Amazon sells them. The Tens 7000 unit comes with them. If you need them, type that into the search on Amazon.
Question:	how many volts in machine
Answer:	I can't find my product info, but it uses a 9 volt battery. The settings go from 0-9, and if I go past 3, I feel like I am being electrocuted. It is plenty powerful, and has a variety of modes, from continuous to modulation to burst. If you turn the burst up too high, again, it feels like it could be fatal. Luckily the setting area has a lid, so it won't go too high by bumping it. I think it's as good as the one my chiropractor uses, the pads are just a bit smaller. You can use them repeatedly, unless you sweat a lot. I reuse mine around 12 times, and sometimes continue to apply with tape when the sticky is gone.
