Answer:	This is for powdered formula. You can measure how ever much your baby takes in each bottle and put that amount in each section. Then put the amount of water in the bottle. So then when you're on the go or away from home, you can just dump the formula into the bottle and mix it then whenever you're ready.

Answer:	I tried it out. Each compartment held 4 scoops of formula, which is enough for 8 oz (assuming 1 scoop for 2 oz of water).

Answer:	I also use them for formula. Thats what they're for. It's top rack dishwasher safe. I put the lid to the smaller one in the silverware container when I wash them. You're kid's not going to die because it wasn't sterilized.

Answer:	why wouldn't it be safe in a bathroom?
Question:	Ok I'm weird but bear with me. I am thinking of using this as a water dispenser for peri bottle. Is it safe to have set up in a bathroom
Answer:	I don’t. I will let the water sit at the minimum line and then make one more bottle with it to use up the rest in the container and then fill it back up. I only wash mine maybe once a week. I use distilled water only and have never had an issue with weird smells or tastes!

Answer:	I also have not had any problems with water stinking. I washed it really well when I first got it and ran vinegar water through it a few times. I only use distilled water in it so maybe that has something to do with it. I highly highly recommend this!

Question:	Can these be UV sterilize
Answer:	They probably sell replacement foam inserts through the Peltor website, but when I purchased my 'muffs,' I also ordered the gel inserts as a replacement for the ones that came with the muffs and I really love them, since they're so soft and comfortable!! The gel inserts are a little pricey, but I can wear the muffs, with the gel inserts on it, for 4 or more hours, without taking them off and most of the time, I'm not even aware that they're on, except every 2 hours, they 'beep' to tell me that they're turning themselves off, if I don't push the on/off button once, in order for them to stay on.

Answer:	yes, apparently the HY80 Gel Cups will fit these muffs and offer great improvement. I have not tried it myself but I'm about to buy some and try to fit them. Cost USD $40-$55 depending on where you get them. there are some on amazon under $40USD. They are expensive but they basically turn these $100 muffs into $200+ muffs as the chip in these is very good (as good as some of the big $ models). the only areas these lack is robustness (the really exxy stuff is water and dust proof) and in the quality of the cups. HY80 will fix that problem. :)

Answer:	I can get 4 scoops in them with no problem. Each one will hold an 2 ounces of water. I've also used them to measure out water to mix with the formula when in a rush. I know each one holds exactly 2 ounces of water so when I have a fussy, hungry baby I just fill the cup up and put it in the bottle. A little quicker than putting water directly in a bottle and then having to balance it

Question:	what is the capacity of the pitcher
Answer:	I purchased this pitcher for my daughter so I don't know for sure what the capacity is but I know she mixes formula for an entire 24 hours in it. It's a must have item to mix formula! Absolutely fantastic. She has twins and they are both on different formulas so we have 2 of them. Absolutely love them.
Question:	How do you reduce clumping while mixing? I've tried formula first, mix a little at a time, what am I doing wrong
Answer:	Water first, then formula. I use cold filtered water and don't have a problem. I usually make 24 oz at a time. I've found if I "plunge" 30 times after adding the formula, it mixes well.
Question:	Can this pitcher be sterilized in boiling water for 10 min? I didn't see that guidance in the instructions and worry about boiling plastic
Answer:	Yes, when I first bought it we sterilized in a pot of hot water for 5-10 mins. Other than that, we rinse it with the Medela soap and hot water. I wouldn't recommend using the microwave or dishwasher as these things can break down the plastic. Of course, that is being a really anal parent. Every two weeks I sterilize it again within a pot of hot water but I never use the microwave or dishwasher.
