Answer:	Yes, we just tested this and there were no problems driving a screw through the plastic. We also hammered a nail through one. There was no splitting or cracking of the surrounding plastic. You can also use scissors or a box cutter to trim these to any size you need.

Answer:	Yes it is. I purchased this item for use in this way (I have it in my emergency bag as a way to start a fire to cook). You can easily use the sun (even on a slightly overcast day) to ignite paper quickly. Keep in mind, items with a higher ignition temperature may take longer to heat up to the point where it will ignite and larger items would also take a longer time. WARNING: The concentration of the sun's rays as you do this create intensely bright light that is NOT safe to look at during this process. This creates a challenge of keeping the lens in focus, centered on the item you are trying to ignite without looking at it. Answer:	Must be held and lifted above print a couple inches. Should get one with strap attached to go around neck to hold it up against chest. Then hands free to hold book. I attached my own.

Question:	Floppy" = thin it' just not thick enough to support it own weight
Answer:	It is thin but only slightly floppy if you hold it on one end. I haven't found the slight bend to be much of an issue. I have no problem lightly supporting it on both sides, occasionally, either, if I want to see what I am looking at without the slight visual "curve" that happens when I hold it one-handed. It's about like what progressive lens bifocals do to your keyboard and your computer screen if you move your head. Hold it lightly two-handed and that effect goes away. I love the handiness of the little extras, perfect size for purse or maybe a man's wallet.
Question:	will this work on a 15 inch laptop screen
Answer:	The focal length states 2.5 - 3 inches, implying that distance necessary for magnification. Advise looking for a specific computer screen mag device. Also, can't your laptop be adjusted for larger print on the idsplay?

Answer:	they come in little plastic sleeves which would not be permanent ,only for shipping. I do not find these worth buying. They do NOT help with reading and there is quite a bit of distortion.

Answer:	You do need to hold it 4-5 inches away from the print to get the effect of the magnification. You could rig a clothespin attached to a post of some sort that would hold it for a stationary magnification device.

Answer:	it's 11 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches high. it will cover both pages of most open books . has legs and also a cord to put over hoyt neck and rest against your body if ding closer hand work like knitting etc.

Answer:	It is a USB to DC cable. The USB end is a type 3. The DC end is a male barrel connection but they come in different sizes, so you’ll have to try to measure it in millimeters or take it to a Best Buy or some other store to match up the end. I don’t know if they measure the mm size by the exterior circumference. Sorry.
Question:	Will it magnify lying flat on page
Answer:	I returned it because it was too hard to focus throuh any part of it. As for the raised lens I don't think it was raised kind of made like a bifocal
