Answer:	SD card works okay with the one I purchased.
Question:	How long do you charge it for 1st time use? And, How do you know when it is fully charged
Answer:	I can't give a precise amount of time it took to charge it the first time, but it was several hours (I'd say overnight). There's a red light when it's charging and it goes off when it's fully charged. You can use it while it's charging though.

Answer:	TransFLash card, also known as Micro SD card. like the one you put on your phone. it comes with one. its where the pics/video you take will be stored.

Answer:	Took me a while to figure this out. Here is how you take still photos: Turn it on, then press "D" and "OK" at the same time. You will observe the symbol on the left upper corner changed from video to photos. When you are ready to take pictures, just press the "OK" button. At the same time, the symbol changed when the picture is saved. Unfortunately, you have to do this EVERYTIME after you turn on the microscop. Somehow, the manufacturer thinks people by default will take videos.

Answer:	No, it probably maxes out between 50 and 200X magnification. At 1000X magnification, you would need to immerse the light path in oil to prevent refraction of light causing blurring of the image. You would also be able to see bacterial cells at that magnification, and none of the review images come remotely close to displaying that level of magnifying power.

It is not possible to focus on subjects beyond this focal distance. Question:	I am interested in this for my mother with macular degeneration. Can we return it if she finds it unhelpful or too complicated? What is Return policy
Answer:	You can return it but they will keep 19% of the price as a restocking fee. They don't tell you this up front. They keep over $300. I find this to be unethical and deplorable. Most restocking fees are 5%. My mom could not operate the device and it ended up costing me over $300 to find this out.

Answer:	Yes...you can change the print and background color in a number of ways; black background with white text is one option out of several.
Question:	Is it possible to write (like a check) under the magnifier
Answer:	Yes, you first meet to switch the device into writing mode. Then you place the check or whatever you are writing on under the magnifier. You will need to do some maneuvering to get your hand and the pen comfortably under the magnifier so you can write. But this will come with experience.

How to use it?

WIFI connection for Android and IOS

1. Download the software “Max-see” from Google Play or APP Store.

2. Long press power button to turn on the microscope.

3. Connect the wifi “Max-see”(no password) which emits from the microscope.

4. Run the app and it is easy to use.



The USB connection on PC or Laptop

*For Windows system users*

1. Download the app from link www.inskam.com/download/camera.zip, and install it in your PC.

2. Connect the microscope to your computer.

3. Long press the power button to turn on the microscope.

4. Run the app and it is ready to go.



*For MAC system users*

1. Turn on the microscope and connect it to MAC terminal through the USB cable.

2. Open the “Photo Booth” software in the Apple App.

3. Click on the Camera and select the GENERAL-UVC#2(default).

The zoom function is mainly realized by the focusing wheel.

1) The “+” and "-" button is just an auxiliary function, it can zoom in from 1.0 to 2.0 on the original basis (adding 0.2 units at a time).

2) "+","-" and "Take Photo" function keys are not working on USB connection situation.

Please click the take photo/ video button in the computer software to operating.

3) When using on the computer, the Maximum resolution is 720P.

Answer:	The built-in lithium battery is not replaceable and the size is 900 mA that you can use it for 3 hours.
Question:	Is this product actually 1000x zoom? i bought, the "zoom" functions like a focus, and "exend/reduce" only go between 1x and 2x. is this a hoax
Answer:	I don’t believe it’s possible to get 1000x. I’ve used true compound microscopes. I have not managed to see things at the cellular level with this thing. I think it might get up to a moderate magnification and then count 2x digital zoom. I mean, you could put this on a tv screen so of course it might magnify 1000x in that sense, but you can’t get the sharp focus of a real microscope or see things not visible with a good hand lens.

Answer:	With the handle unfolded: the switch to turn the lights on is directly up the handle from where my thumb rests when holding the magnifying glass. I am able to move my thumb up the hand to the location of the switch and press the switch. I like my folding handheld magnifying glass and the lights work well. Excellent product. John B.
Question:	Can you use a phone adapter to charge this
Answer:	The magnifying glass handle is in the lower right hand corner for a right-handed person. And in the upper left hand corner for a left-handed person. I purchased this for my 96 year-old mother-in-law so I don't have have it here to tell you if it's comfortable to hold. My mother-in-law likes using it. I suggest you try it and if it's not comfortable for you send it back.
Question:	I see that a charging cord is included, but what about the plug? Is the plug included on the end of the cord, or just the cord
Answer:	This one is a newer/upgraded version which has 10 built-in led lights with dimmable switch, however, the other one is our older version which carries 6 led lights with only two brightness levels, they do have the same magnification power magnifies up to 300%. Answer:	I never requested a replacement for this lighted magnification glass.
