Answer:	The LED light only turns on if you slide the protective cover down all the way (once you hear the "click" sound, the LED light will activate. Answer:	I just received mine, in my opinion, it is not suitable for counted cross stitch. If you hold your work at the usual distance, it is too blurry. You have to hold your work about 11/2" to 2 " from your nose. I am past 60 and use reading glasses. I do think even with average eye site you'd have to hold the work that close of a distance. It would be great for getting a close up look at jewelry, model kits etc. I guess I'll have to spring for one of those lighted magnifiers on an arm.

Answer:	Yes, this can be done just by removing the screw on the left side and replace in the right one, then just position the loupe on the left side, I did the same thing since my best eye is the left.

Answer:	I tried it once. By the time I had twisted around in all directions (I'm 73) trying to see and hold my feet close enough and keeping them still, I had wiggled around until I fell off the couch and landed on the floor. Hilarious seeing this old lady trying to get up like a turtle on it's back! The only pedicuring I got was an unintended snip on my little toe. Not my toenail, but the flesh. Will not try that again. But it works really well for crocheting, tatting, knitting, reading when my eyes are hurting, plus many, many more things. I repaired an earring the other day with them. I agree with what DSE said. You need to be a contortionist!

Question:	Carson optical PM-33. Directions on how to remove tab that protects the light

We see that this question is on the PO-25 page, but is referring to the PM-33, so we just want to make sure that you're asking about the tab protecting the button cell batteries on the PM-33. If that is the case, the plastic tab should be easily pulled out outward. If there is an issue removing the tab, the battery panel can be removed by pushing in the direction of the imprinted arrow, and the remaining protective insert can be removed that way.

Question:	How do i insert the aaa batteries in the po55 5x ledcarson magnifier
Answer:	We are happy to help you with this. For the PO-55, when the lens cover is slid in the upward position, covering the lens, you will notice a small arrow pointing downward on the front panel. This panel can be removed by pressing on it gently and pushing it downward. The video on the PO-55 detail page shows the battery panel being removed if you'd like to see this process. Since this question was left on the detail page for the LL-88, we will provide that information as well, just in case that is what you meant. For the LL-88, if you flip the loupe over, there is a similar panel on the bottom. If you gently press on it and push downward, in the direction that the arrow is pointing, the panel will come off an allow you to change the batteries. This is also shown in the video on the product detail page.

Question:	Can you lay it down on the page? Or do you have to keep holding the magnifier
Answer:	It is hand held only. DO NOT lay it down on the page. NOTHING should touch the lens except the protective cover or proper lens cleaning cloth and liquid. The lens is made of plastic and laying it on paper or any abrasive surface will damage it. Additionally, it has to be held at a certain distance from what you are examining in order for the lens to magnify the view. You will get little, if any, magnification by resting the lens upon the page. This is the best, but you do need to take care of it.

Answer:	Yes,they are rubber, bu there are better options out there. I tried these but they were too much trouble getting them to fit properly on the glasses & then stay positioned correctly. Question:	I have trifocals but need magnification for crafts. Would these work with trifocals
Answer:	They work well with my bifocals; so I don't see why not. I use them for sewing, for crafts, at the piano and at the computer (the latter two things, with bifocals, keep me from having to tip my head up and getting a sore neck while I'm working). All I can say is give them a try. Clip-on magnifiers release me from holding on to a magnifying glass. I don't know if they are equal to or better than a free-standing magnifier that lots of craft and sewing people use. But they're very handy and don't require the space that that sort of thing needs.

Answer:	Yes depending on her eyesight she should be able to read the menu just fine the led light is very bright and has three focus levels!

Answer:	Yes, right next to the button that turns the light on is a tab that you slide down (towards you) to expose the battery. Simply lift it out and replace it with the battery number facing up! Haven't needed to change mine yet!

Question:	Is this magnifying glass good for someone with low vision and cannot see very well, who wants to read the numbers & letters on a remote control
Answer:	I am not sure because I can see fairly well. It looks like it would enlarge enough as I tried it on my remote and it enlarges the numbers a lot. The only problem I see is that you could only see I number at a time. I got it to read my prescription labels and to read menus in low light. It works great for that.

Question:	How big around is the handle? Could it be used in either hand
Answer:	The handle would be comfortable in any size hand. It can be used with either hand, but if you use it in the left, the LEDs will be shining right in your eyes.

Answer:	No there is no protective pouch.
Question:	Is the lens glass? If not, do you offer one like this that's not acrylic
Answer:	No. The lens of the Lighted MagniFold (MJ-50) is acrylic. If you would like a glass lens, we would recommend the Carson SureGrip 2x Glass Magnifier (SG-10). Please note that the main lens of the SG-10 is made of glass. However, the spot lens that is built into the handle of the SG-10 is acrylic.
Question:	What is the magnification on this product
Answer:	On the MJ-50's Label it's 2x, and manufacturers have some million scientists to prove it... but I've just bought 5 different magnifiers - all 2x by nominals on their labels, and found out (- that's just my opinion:for MJ-50 k~1.25x = 125% magnification & it doesn't matter that I only have 6 real diplomas of different institutes & universities,- but don't believe me - look for yourself,- for the thickness of the finger, for ex.: if you divide the size of it ~how it looks through magnifier in its focus-distance - to the actual real size, measured by any ruler, then you receive the koefficient which should be ~2x = 200% magnification),- I found out that only ONE of these different 2x-magnifiers has something close to 2x: that RM-95 Rimless Magnifier with acrylic 9cm round lens & its brand is Carson too as for MJ-50. MJ-50 in my opinion has that koefficient 1.25 = 125% magnification. I did see that by my own eyes & though my vision is not perfect I did read all texts on the MJ-50 box without my reading glasses - it was bright day-sun-light. But it's hard to prove that because all lines & numbers on the measuring ruler are also magnified in the same proportion of this magnifier. & MJ-50 even doesn't have "bubble" with bigger magnification,- so I couldn't use it in any real way. But it looks very nice! (RM-95 also doesn't have such "bubble" but it gives the real 2x = 200% magnification.) I could prove it with some optical laser expirements which includes some not very exact measurements but I don't need prove for something I did see by my eyes,- same as I don't have to prove existance of our God Almighty, in which One We Trust as everybody could see on US money bill used equally by believers & atheists.
