I'm using this for a d3300 woth an older all metal lens, but I would trust this with my much heavier d300 body woth battery grip and full on telephoto lens! It's that good. When grasping the mount from either end in both hand it doesn't budge at all while trying to apply force. Like the seller stated, what type of hardware you use to mount it will determine if it can reach its max load of 10lbs. Get some appropriate hardware for what you are mounting it to and you're gtg! |

This review is a good example. Your purchase was back in 2017. Many improvements have been introduced into the stand since your purchase. Based on your feedback, it's sagging at the point where the top arm assembly connects to the aluminum shaft/pole of the stand. The chrome ball adapter that connects these two components probably has a smooth finish on it. Newer versions have lines or ridges that allow the collar to grip tighter. If you purchased your stand previous to when a modification or past improvement was made, and you're experiencing a problem with it, we always provide a n/c replacement for the part that may be causing the problem. | Answer: | That would depend on what you are clamping the mount on. If you're clamping it to a flat surface like a table top, board it would probably hold a camera with a telephoto lens. If you're attaching it to a pipe or circular bar then it might rotate with the same set up. I have a Nikon 3500 & a small 70-300 mm telephoto lens & it works without any problems on a flat surface. The clamp will slip on a pipe but if you're not going to leave it there or move around, it should be fine. |

| Answer: | This is my stock answer for anyone considering this camera mount: This Dash-Cam mount is superior to any other mount I have used. I don’t have to worry about the suction cup coming loose or the tape coming free. I have it on both of my vehicles. (on my Subaru Ascent with rear-view mirror – not a back-up camera – the shaft if larger and I had to get a longer set of screws.) The mount comes with a whole bag of adapters so – it is worth it to buy the unit and if one of those many adapters don’t fit – or you can’t adapt your own - return it. It is worth the trouble if it will work because this is the best hanger out there. |

| Answer: | Both of my installs are Subaru with "Eye Sight" (Forester and Ascent) The clamp is on the rear view mirror post and not in the 'no objects allowed' area of the windshield. All functions, adaptive cruise - lane departure etc, are working just fine. P.S. if yours is an Ascent Touring, the rear view mirror post is larger because of the camera option and you will need a longer bolt for the clamp. |
