Answer:	The large is appx. 26" by 17" and the small is 18" by 13". The closed dimensions (without unzipping the extra space is appx. 10" for the large and 7" for the small. Both are quite generous.
Question:	does this meet airlines carry on policies
Answer:	Unfortunately, it depends on what airline you take! It used to meet standards; now they are suggesting new ones, especially for non US-carriers. Check what your airline allows. We bought this because it was one inch smaller than the smallest carry-on we owned. It fit easily in the overhead compartment for our United flight. NOTE: we did not overfill it - it becomes about an inch wider where the zipper is if you can't squeeze it shut.

Answer:	No, I don't think so. I have the 24in and just used it for a 6 day trip and it was perfect. Not to big or to small. The 20in would not have worked for me. For the money the 24 is better. But it would probably not work as a carryon.

Answer:	I'm going to say not really - not without a modification. The case has a 1 inch opening at both corners at the bottom. The opening is on the side, not the very bottom so it is not lined up with the jack. You can thread the headphone cord through the hole, connect to your iphone 5, and push it into the case. The flap closure has magnet closures. The phone will not fall into the case far enough for the magnets to meet up. It's close. I tried with headphones that have a straight connector and ones with a 90 degree connector. You could punch a small hole in the case to accommodate the jack. The case is good quality so it would still function fine with the small hole. Lastly, I have an Otter Box on mine which has a rubber flap over the phone jack. That flap will also make it hard to hook the earphones up to the phone through the case.
