Question:	Will it unscrew a ceiling screw
Answer:	I never gave it a thought but if the screw is tight to the object or inset the answer would be No.If the screw is loose and you can use the grabber it might work Personally I would get a ladder and screwdriver and get the job done .Period.

Answer:	The jaws open to 6 inches at their tips and 4.5 inches at the base of the pads.

Answer:	I use mine for river litter pick-up. It's done okay so far, but the "grabber" ends will bend if trying to pull on something buried in the bank a bit. As far as the wear under water, mine have held up and I've had them since February. I've been using them at least monthly since. I hope that helps!

Answer:	No. It will barely handle One Pound between the gripping tips. I got it to retrieve books from high shelves. It will barely handle a one pound hardback book. Squeeze until I am worried for the grabber and worried for the tendons in my wrist, and the book just wants to slide out from between the tips.Note that the tips are the part of the grabber with the least mechanical advantage. It might do better with something round that would fit within the arms of the grabber. I just checked: the inner padded surface of the arms will do a fairly good job of gripping round objects from 2 1/2 to 3 inches (60 to 75 mm) in diameter. Smaller, and the arms can't tighten enough; larger, and only the tips get much of a grip, and as above, they don't grip very hard.I might consider it for a single serving can of soup or a catsup bottle, but I wouldn't be using it for quart jars of mayonnaise.

Answer:	There is no lock on the handle or grip. You need to keep the trigger squeezed for the fingers to remain closed.
Question:	How much pressure does the trigger require? Is it feasible for an elderly person to use
Answer:	The trigger operates very easily, not much pressure required to activate it. However, the degree of pressure to be applied to the trigger is dependent upon the weight of the item being picked up. Something small and light weight little pressure is needed. Something heavier like a can of soup will require more pressure to ensure the grip on the object is adequate to lift and move it.
Question:	I have new double hung windows and the top sash is just out of my reach. Would this grabber be strong enough to push the window sash up to close
Answer:	I would say, absolutely not. The window tracks create too much resistance and you will break the claws. I am disabled and use a power chair. I have to have help closing my windows but sometimes can use a more dense item to finish opening or closing my windows by myself. I have custom 5ft Victorian size windows, the new style.
Question:	Would this be suitable for pulling small weeds out of a rock garden
Answer:	I would not recommend it. The tips of the grabber do close together but not with sufficient force to grip and pull the stem of a weed.

Answer:	I only use the Nifty Nabber for retrieving items in high places around the home. Would not want to use it to pull weeds. It's very helpful around the home.

Answer:	When open, the jaws are 4 inches in width (10 cm). These grabbers are exceptionally good at picking up the smallest item from the floor. I can enthusiastically recommend them.
Question:	Where are these made
Answer:	China, they are faulty. They last about two weeks then a design flaw makes them stop functioning. The design flaw is that there is a plastic piece inside where the cable runs that as you use the device wears a groove making the cord that operates the grabber stop being able to grab as the cord gets stuck in this groove. There is no way to fix it, it just stops being able to open and close making it worthless. Hope that helps.
