Question:	Is it good for shooting range
Answer:	You can use a ceramic rod. I have not had to do it yet, because the quality of this knife is so good. When sharpening is needed, I will use the ceramic and follow instructions I googled! (I love this knife so much! I no longer need a bread knife!) it cuts through tomatoes easily!

Answer:	The seller answered it is a 7 inch knife. I bought my first one about 20 years ago. When I took it in for sharpening a year or so ago, they told me these are difficult to sharpen, however, the company guarantees them and gave me the address. I sent them the knife and they sent me a brand new one! I love this knife. Use it only for bread and tomatoes and always wash and dry it after use and hang on a rack. It never goes in a dish washer. I learned from professional chefs how to care for knives.

Answer:	I don’t have the 10” knife, but the ikon 9” is long enough for any bread or cake and very well made. Very sharp, but because it has a serrated edge, not easy to sharpen. Had it for several years still one of my sharpest knives. There is a reason why the 9” ikon model cost twice and it’s in the construction. If you are cutting soft breads then any knife might do, but for crusty dense breads, I think the 9” ikon is a better tool
Question:	Can I use this monocular telescope without a smart phone
Answer:	Sorry, I have only used it with crusty breads (both white and wholewheat). The knife is very sharp and cuts crusty bread easily. Note, any serrated knife will pull and and tear. It depends on how sharp the blade is, the spacing between the serrations and how much pressure you put onto the bread while cutting.

Question:	Is it good for beginners to use
Answer:	I am 6'8" and use it how it is (I suggest you get the 35" option). I had my last putter extended to 37", but you definitely lose a lot more control per inch. The 35" head flat on the ground height is 33.5". I didn't even notice losing the 2" when getting to stance, us tall guys just have to live with it! Question:	Where is the controller for the zoom feature
Answer:	I have used the round sharpening or honing steel that Wusthof sells for my bread knife. I also have the hand held 2 stage sharpener which has a fine and coarse side. I have never actually used that for serrated knives, but I think I was told when I bought my knives, that you would use the coarse side. I noticed there are Wusthof videos on You tube that show how to sharpen the serrated knives Hope that helps!
Question:	Is the sight quality of this starscope monocular the same on all types of phones
Answer:	The double serrated has a series of finer / smaller serrates that slice rather than tear. It creates less crumbs and is easier to use on a wider number of food items.

Answer:	Hello, no it does not. Plastic front with a cardboard backing. You will have to wrap for a Christmas Gift.
Question:	How many feet away can you see clearly
Answer:	Amazon sells several options. I use the Henckle 4 stage pull through. It has a setup for Asian style knives. Brod and Taylor has a really high end sharpener but it is 130 bucks. Guess you need to look at your knife sharpening needs to justify the higher end model. 25 bucks or 130 bucks. I mean it is the giving season right? Wusthof tri stone is super cool but it always takes time to commit to the learning curve of an open stone. Also I get my scissors sharpened professionally and the same guy does my knives. It is only a few bucks per.

Answer:	Wüsthof uses X50CrMoV15 steel which is a German high carbon stainless steel with a hardness rating (HRC) of 56. From what I read, it is a high quality steel used by a number of manufacturers of medium to high end kitchen knives. I could go into great detail, but it is much better explained a number of places on the Web. Type “X50CrMoV15 steel” into you favorite search engine for a number of interesting and/or exhaustive entries that explain the details much better than I can.
