Answer:	I've used mine daily and have had no problems with it. It has never came off or even slipped from place. I highly recommend it.

Answer:	I have never tried to use this on sand. I'm speculating that it may work better than a small circular tip, but it's still going to sink in. A flat plate might work much better.

Answer:	I don't really know, but the hole the crutch will be placed in is rather small. If you can get a regular cane tip (or just use one briefly in a drugstore), you could try that. If the crutch will work on a regular tip, it will fit with the one you want. I would urge you to be very careful

Answer:	My 2 canes are 7/8 and these supports fit on them....use a little spit on the cane shaft before sliding them on and then just pound the cane onto the hard floor for a secure fit. Worked for me and they are great for better security on wet surfaces and snow covered walks, although I walk very carefully in those situations.:o)
