Answer:	That doesn’t sound right. Have you tried untighteni g and then re-tightening them? If that doesn’t work then try to return them. Both my husband and I have Been using these poles over a year. Heavy use with no problems.

Answer:	No anti-shock feature, but I didn't want one. These poles have same overall weight as a set that costs $189. The $39 set has quick lock system that I prefer instead of the twist lock system on $29.99 set. These are cheap enough that I don't worry about babying or breaking them.
Question:	What is the difference between the neoprene and cork handles? Not sure which to choose, they are the same price
Answer:	Cork handles resists moisture from sweaty hands, decreases vibration and best conforms to the shape of your hands. Neoprene absorbs moisture from sweaty hands and is the softest to the touch.

Answer:	You may be able to find them at Costco for less, but right now they are not listed on Costco's web site and have not been in stores for quite some time. If you can find a store that has them in stock, buy them. I want to say they were $30 the last time I saw them in a store. You can get them for $38 on Amazon with no shipping (Prime), so I don't know if it's worth it to drive all over town looking for them in stores. I just ordered a new set through Amazon. They are great poles and still a great deal even at $40.

Before using your poles, make sure that your locks are firmly secured. While the tip is on the ground, test to ensure the lock is secure by pushing on the top of the handle so the tip presses into the ground. If your pole shortens while doing this then you need to readjust the height and tighten the lock more.

Step 1. Open Tab and Adjust

Fully open the quick lock tab and adjust to desired height.

Step 2. Tighten Thumbscrew

Tighten Thumbscrew by turning it 1/4" to 1/2" turns clockwise.

Step 3. Close Quick Lock Tab

Quick Lock Tab should be difficult to close when properly tightened.

If you need the dimensions of the Dutch Oven vessel (without counting the lid or side handles) the approximate measurement is 9-3/4" in diameter with a vessel height of 4 inches.
Question:	Can the regular baskets come off? I’m not able to get them into my pack loop with the basket on. I’m not referring to the snow baskets
Answer:	Referring to "Tramontina 80116/024DS Gourmet Stainless Steel Induction-Ready Tri-Ply Clad Covered Sauce Pan, 4-Quart, NSF-Certified, Made in Brazil": If the first two digits of the second set of numbers of the model number is "02" (i.e., "02" in 80116/024DS), then it is made in Brazil. If the first two digits of the second set of numbers of the model number is "55" (i.e., "55" in 80116/554DS), then it is made in China. This information is from the Tramontina customer service department (I had the same question and wrote to them). I just received the 2-quart version from Walmart with the model number 80116/562DS; the box and pan both say this item was also made in China, but I don't yet know what the distinction is between the "55" (made in China) and the "56" (also made in China)... I again wrote to customer service but haven't heard back yet. Incidentally, the third digit of the second set of numbers in the model number (i.e., "4" in 80116/024DS) appears to refer to the size of the pan: 1 = 1.5-quart, 2 = 2-quart, 3 = 3-quart, and 4 = 4-quart. Answer:	Although stainless steel cookware is not "nonstick", there are some things that may help lessen the "sticking" of your food to your pans when cooking. 1. Take your food out of the refrigerator and allow it to thaw before cooking.(Cold food has a tendency to stick more than food at room temperature.) 2. Always preheat your pan on low to medium for about 2 minutes before you start to cook. 3. Add oil or butter to the cookware and allow it to heat up. 4. Place your food in the pan and let it cook all the way on one side before you turn it. If you try to turn it too soon it will almost always stick. 5. Never put your pan on high or med high unless you have a pan full of cold liquid. The cool liquid will pull the heat from the pan and keep the metal in the pan cooler. 6. Turn the heat down to med low or low once you add your food to the pan. Your pan has an aluminum core that will retain the heat, so if you keep it too high your food may burn or stick. CLEANING: For hard-to-clean, stuck-on foods, soak cookware in hot, soapy water prior to washing. Hopefully, these tips will help you, when cooking with stainless steel.
Question:	Just received these poles today and I can't see any way to keep the 3 separate pieces of the poles from coming apart as you are walking
Answer:	Yes. It is a non-metallic substance (not sure what) that does not conduct heat . Keep in mind that these pans, in my experience, perform admirably for about 2-3 years but decline precipitously after that to where food sticks to it as it would in a conventional pan. However, that is likely as good as it gets for pans with non-carcinogenic cooking surfaces. So the tradeoff is up to you.

Question:	Hi, are you able to adjust the height on these poles
Answer:	The metal handle is held onto the pot with two large rivets, so that is a really solid connection. From there the handle is sheathed in plastic/silicone, so I cannot tell if it extends the entire length of the handle until the hanger hole. I will say that the handle feels very durable, comfortable in hand, and unlikely to break.
Question:	to lock the pole segments together, how many times do you need to twist the middle section toward the lock symbol? Mine never seem to lock
Answer:	Yes, it is toxin free. It's made of an alloy so it does shed the non stick polish .

Question:	I recently bought a pair of these, and am unable to lock the wrist strap. It is constantly loosening. What is the trick to securing the strap
Answer:	That doesn’t sound right. Have you tried untighteni g and then re-tightening them? If that doesn’t work then try to return them. Both my husband and I have Been using these poles over a year. Heavy use with no problems.

Answer:	No anti-shock feature, but I didn't want one. These poles have same overall weight as a set that costs $189. The $39 set has quick lock system that I prefer instead of the twist lock system on $29.99 set. These are cheap enough that I don't worry about babying or breaking them.

Answer:	You may be able to find them at Costco for less, but right now they are not listed on Costco's web site and have not been in stores for quite some time. If you can find a store that has them in stock, buy them. I want to say they were $30 the last time I saw them in a store. You can get them for $38 on Amazon with no shipping (Prime), so I don't know if it's worth it to drive all over town looking for them in stores. I just ordered a new set through Amazon. They are great poles and still a great deal even at $40.
