Answer:	It is almost too easy to raise-light squeeze brings it up. Probably need two hands to lower-one to squeeze, one to press down on top, but moves easily.

Answer:	there were 3 different price variations of this table, the 2 lower-priced versions do not have a lip, and people seem to be having problems with them, the more expensive one does, and it's a much better product.

Answer:	There's no weight bearing measurement on the table or in the instruction manual; but my father is a stroke patient and has used it faithfully since we got it without any problems. There was one time 5 of our cats got on it all at once without it having any give, their combined weight should be Peanut 7lbs + Rosco 10lbs + Little Bit 9lbs + Gus 19lbs + Sally 17lbs = 62lbs total est, so I know it supports that at least.

Answer:	The item does not seem to come in a left handed version. I was also looking for that. I have been ok using it at the right end of my sofa, although it does not extend over my lap as much as I might like. The moveable top surface has a wide range of movement and the whole deals seems to be well built. I think that a person with some simple woodworking skills could turn this into a left hand version by drilling a new hole in the top.

Answer:	I see that your question is from 2013 and it's now 2019, but for anyone else asking, one of the user-contributed videos demonstrates with a ruler that this section of the wheels + bottom rails is 3.5". Personally, that leaves me about 1/4". I'm about to order it... fingers crossed!
Question:	Will this table be able to move in close while sitting in a rocker recliner? How wide is it between the bottom legs
Answer:	This table is 16 inches between the bottom legs. It fits close in my overstuffed chair. The opening of my chair is 22 inches. You either have to put your legs over the back of the roller base or on the outside of the legs. Neither which is a big deal. I use this table every day all day long. For my computer and to eat on. Question:	Is it possible to use without the wheels
Answer:	Yes, I bought this and found it was too tall with the wheels to fit under my couch. The wheels just screw into the bottom and without them it's flat. However, the screws hold in the plastic caps on the base so I ended up wrapping some electrical tape around the part of the caps that fit inside the metal base to make them fit more snugly and keep them in place otherwise they would just fall out. I also added stick on felt pads to the bottom of the metal base on each of the four corners since I am using it on a wood flood. It is working great now and easily slides under my couch.

Answer:	Hi! At the end of assembly, please make sure that you remove the transport screw. If you do not remove this screw, you will not be able to adjust the height of the table. I hope this helps. Question:	Is this table more stable than other Vaunn tables for $70? Dimensions larger? Thanks
Answer:	I felt it was much more stable than other tables I had seen. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. There is much more room at the base for a larger wheelchair to fit between. And the table to itself is of larger dimensions too.
Question:	Why is the side away from the leg higher than the other side? In otherwords the top is not level
Answer:	Hi! My name is Tina and I am with Beyond Med Shop. First, let me assure you that a slight tilt is normal with the overbed table. Since the overbed table is meant to slide over beds, it is deliberately made with only 1 supporting pole underneath the tabletop. Therefore in order to ensure that weight gets evenly distributed across the tabletop when a user placed certain objects on the table, the product is made with a slight tilt upwards. The 2-3 degrees angle should be hardly noticeable to the eyes and will allow the table to be leveled once objects are placed on the tabletop. However, where you place the object on the table also affects the tilt. If the item is placed at the edge of the table - opposite from where the stand is - the tilt will be more pronounced than when you place it in the middle of the table. If you have received a table with a tilt of more than 2-3 degrees, you may have received a defective product. This may be due to welding/assembly issues. Question:	Can you use this table for working on laptop in a Wheelchair
Answer:	With the wheels on the table drops down to be approximately 28” tall with space between floor and bottom part of table approximately 26.5” tall. Fortunately I am not in a wheelchair yet so mainly use it for my bed. Table top is plenty big for a laptop and table is very sturdy. Hope this helps!

Question:	Can it fold away and be placed underneath bed
Answer:	You have to unscrew the two screws on the side of it put it up full over the top and the bottom fold down into pieces later on top of each other and it will fall away
Question:	Does the section that holds the laptop slant when level at 180-degrees? other models slant horribly & don't want laptop endangered with sideways slide
Answer:	The section that holds the laptop is adjustable so you can angle it or leave it level. There are bumpers at the front that prevent the laptop from sliding.
Question:	Is this adjustable for lefties
Answer:	Technically, yes. But there are a few pieces on one side of each section to prevent things from sliding off when the desk is at different angles. They're non-removeable so they're useless if you turn the desk around.
Question:	How tall does the couch have to be to fit under it

Question:	What is the height of the wheels from the ground to the base of the unit
Answer:	It is height adjustable but I'm not sure the exact height. I believe the height is mentioned in the ad.
Question:	Does the tray have a lip
Answer:	Not really. There is about a 1 mm "lip" where the edging strip meets the table top. I wish it did have one!
Question:	How much weight can the table handle
Answer:	Probably not a ridiculous amount. I have had several books and a laptop with no problem. If you put your weight on it, it begins to lean because it's only connected to the base on one end. It's been a great little side table for me so far.
Question:	What is the height of the wheels and metal bar on top of the wheels? Wondering if this will fit underneath my recliner chair
Answer:	It is 3 and 5/8" or 9 .20 centimetres from the floor to the top of the bar that runs across both legs.

Question:	What is the width of the table? I need my laptop AND an auxillary keyboard on it
Answer:	It's 15" deep by 30" wide. Since most laptops are about 9-10 inches deep, that leaves only 4" to 5" if you want to put your keyboard in front of the laptop. Obviously, you can put them side by side, but then you won't be looking directly at the laptop screen.
Question:	Just received my table. It's great except the table top is not level. It's higher on the pole end. Is there a way to level the top
Answer:	My table didn't have that problem. It's level and works wonderfully. Perhaps you have a defective one and need to exchange it.
Question:	Can it be used as a standing desk
Answer:	Yes. It raises up to 47 inches in height. A standard kitchen counter top ls 36 inche, which is a standing work height and this adjust higher that that considerably.
Question:	Can the top swivel to the side on this table, so the person doesn't have to push the whole table away
Answer:	The top does not swivel. You can rollers on the bottom are similar to the kind on a computer chair, but with latches if you want to lock the wheels. Since I have carpet, I put a plastic chair mat on the floor to facilitate moving the table and to protect my carpet. It is solid table that has not bent or sagged. I have had this product for a few years.
