Answer:	Those are the package dimensions. Assembled dimensions are shown in secondary product images. The images show it needing about a 22-inch-square space to fit in, but one customer said it fits in 20 inches; this probably varies depending on how far you extend the legs (they get slightly wider as they get taller, due to the angle).

Answer:	Not soft and definitely not cushiony. It is a hard foam, and I would say it makes it not as cold as sitting on hard plastic. It also does not "hold" water as I was afraid it would do. So no mold problems. Hope that helps.

Question:	What does it use for power
Answer:	The battery unit is the up/down, on/off unit that hangs on side of chair- it also floats and comes with charger you plug into wall socket when it gets low on power. It will not go down if power is to low to lift you back, I tried it once and it works as it should. I've had mine and used daily for years with all original parts and it still works great, love it.
Question:	The back lowers automatically? So if you don't want to recline to the fullest position, you have no choice
Answer:	The lift goes up and down with the back in the straight vertical position. When down at the lowest level one can keep the down button pressed and the back then reclines. So if you don't want to recline you don't have to. You do have to recline the back to fold up the unit.
Question:	My tub's width is 28". Will the flaps work for my tub? Thanks
Answer:	The width of my tub is 29" from the outside of the tub, so it sits over the edge on both sides. The chair is about 27 from flap to flap. You would have to bring the chair closer to the outside where you load yourself to use it. My wife uses the flap to sit on and then slides over. they fill the gap so you don't fall in, and flaps really don't seem to steady it much. The suction cups hold to the bottom of the tub real well. I know it's been a blessing to us and has worked real good. I don't know how we did without it before.

Answer:	Mine said warranty for one year. We still like our chair not only for the tub, but wife fell and could not get up. Answer:	Yes, it attaches with 4 screws under the seat. During assembly you can opt to leave it off or remove after it's assembled, but not with a simple release clasp, only by unscrewing it from the seat.

Answer:	I weigh 220 lbs, and the legs broke where they cross. I wrote a review, see the pictures. I contacted cybermarketonline.com who is the parent company and they are located out of Great Britain. All I got so far was 'send more pictures and we'll start an investigation." and "All our products are sold on amazon, there is nothing we can do for you." I sent picture sof the broken leg from below showing the ripped metal, as well as a photo or two of me on the unit wiht the legs spreading out to the point of failure. It is not only NOT rated for 280 lbs, it is not rated for 220 lbs, and I question if it is rated for much over 150 pounds. I ahve pictures of teh broken unit and failure if anyone wants them.

Answer:	I've had it a month now. Use it in the shower, yes sturdy (180# man). Also I have used it to keep my foot raised while I'm sitting around ( which is all I can do lately) . No I have not tightened it yet, with a lot of use it's stayed sturdy.

Answer:	So glad you asked! There are two (2) rails that hold the "potty" but they are easily removed as we just discovered. The chair seat is 17 3/4 inch high at the bottom with the rails removed. It is a very good toilet chair, not a shower chair. It is rusting badly from being in the shower.
Question:	Can someone tell me why this chair can not be used in a shower? When searching this chair comes up under commode shower chairs
Answer:	We have used this as a shower chair for at least four years. It does eventually get rusty in places, but it's been very satisfactory. We will replace it with the same model. It's also been handy for showering our small dog. We put a towel on the seat so it's not slippery when wet, and it puts him at a comfortable height to shampoo and rinse with a hand-held shower head. Makes quick work of the "dreaded" shower time for him!
