Answer:	No it is not padded, but it doesn’t seem to hurt your legs because it has a wider base for your thighs to be sitting on. It works really well for people that are overweight. I had bought one for myself and when my mother needed to have one I also bought this one for her because in my experience this one seems to be the best one that I have tried so far.
