Answer:	I'm not a doctor, however it is most likely rubbing alcohol which has topical medical use (such as disinfecting). It is not the same as drinking alcohol that can be toxic to your liver. I make sure to read ingredients and there is nothing in here that appears toxic to me, but you should do your own research; maybe contact the company or find an alcohol free product if you are concerned.

Question:	Does it remove inflammation and swilling such as in osteoarthritis or only temporarily relieve pain
Answer:	It is not a cure, but it does help relieve swelling and inflammation. I live with chronic pain from Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. I do get relief from them with this. It is temporary relief, but generally, for me I have relief for several hours from Arnica Gel. There's no unpleasant scent and I haven't seen where it stains my clothes like other rub ons. Answer:	No. Zero odor. One might not feel anything ,just cold gel feeling when applied, not even tingling. The effect will be found later by pain being gone. The effect lasts quite a long time(not sure how long) 24hours? I can say at least 12 hours. It makes possible for me to travel long flight confined in narrow space on economy class cabin.

My daughter bruises easily and if we can get arnica on right after she bumps into something, and then apply it about three more times that day, the bruise will be faint and only last a couple days, if it even shows up at all. Answer:	I have very poor circulation in my feet and lower legs. This blanket is a "Godsend" for me as it allows me to sleep without pain.

Answer:	Right about 8 hours it shuts off..I love this thing..I turn it on the Highest setting about 30 minutes before I go to bed. Then after getting into bed, I turn it down to lowest setting. Works perfect for me, since my feet are usually freezing evry night when I go to bed..No more freezing feet now..Ha!!
Question:	which way does the head point, with the handle or 90 degrees to the handle
Answer:	A blinking red light means that the electrical circuit from the controller out to the blanket and back to the controller is not being completed. (I wrote about this in a review of the very similar "Serta Ultra Plush Triple Rib Electric Heated Foot Warmer, Natural" here on Amazon). This might mean that the plug that goes into the blanket is not properly seated (check that first), but in my case - and I bet it's the same for a lot of the people that have this problem - it meant that one of the connectors on the interior of the blanket was loose or slightly out of place. To fix my wife's foot warner, all I had to do was feel around on the part of the plug that's inside the blanket and find the two wiring connections. I gently pushed them back in toward the connector, and the blanket worked again on the first try. I'm pretty sure that handling/washing the blanket, or pulling too hard on the blanket while unplugging it causes those connections to get loosened, and eventually is prevents the electrical circuit from being completed. Not a great design, might not hard to fix yourself with a little poking around. Answer:	The green part is made of thick rubber that has a little give to it. It has a ridged texture to it, too.

Answer:	Looks like you have the "real" one not the travel version. The handles in the travel version recede into the roller; good for travel and size NOT GOOD for trigger point applications. Don't have my here at the moment, so can't give you the dimensions, but the size of the regular one is fine, about the size of an old fashion rolling pin, which I suspect is where they got the idea from in the first place.
Question:	Is the standard better than the portable version
Answer:	I got the standard because that's the one they used at rehab. The handles are thicker on the standard so I would think that would make them more comfortable to hold. I like mine a lot. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is hard in the middle, so for superficial tissue massage it's a bit less comfortable. However, for deep tissue, such as leggs or calfs, it's pretty effective in finding and massaging the knots (trigger points).

Question:	Is the surface the pad sticks to smooth
Answer:	Yes it is, and initially, the pad sticks well to it. However, after you've used it awhile and need to replace it, when you try to remove the old pad it leaves a layer of sticky stuff, like cellophane tape, that's a mess to remove. This could be my fault, since I didn't replace the pad until it started falling off. Anyway, I've solved the problem by jerry rigging some fabric over it and tying it around the handle. Works just fine now.
