Answer:	If you are referring to the current price shown (S$368.xx) compared to NTF3000 (S$198.xx), that is largely due to the current inflicted pricing. When I bought it in late January 2020, it was in fact cheaper than NTF3000. Prior to COVID-19 pandemic, the price was just marginally higher than NTF3000. BNT400 (aka '3-in-1 No Touch' in USA) has additional feature which is calibrated for different age group. Furthermore, it's sensor is likely to be different than NTF3000 hence it is capable to detect food and bath water temperature rather accurately. From an industrial terminology, what that means is that the thermoscan is capable to switch between different 'Nominal Surface Emissivity' (human body NSE is different from food/water NSE which is 0.93). NTF3000 likelihood does not have the ability to switch between NSE, hence cheaper. Hope this helps.

I discovered it could be several factors: different insertion in the ear, earwax and the last time it happened to me my daughter had an ear infection in the ear with the higher reading. After her ear infection was cured the reading was just +- .2 different between the 2 ears.

Answer:	You are correct the lens filters by Braun are $5.99 at Target - exact match. I have not been able to order them in my area since the start of Covid-19. Until this week they were "unavailable due to high demand". Also at Walmart for $5.83. Is Amazon price gouging?

Answer:	I can confirm that it does not beep. In fact that was the main reason I bought it! Works well for quiet readings.

Answer:	Very easy. One button selects which feature you are trying to adjust, then once on that feature(emissivity) use the arrows up or down to adjust. I've owned this thermometer for a month and I am very happy with the included features. This can do anything that my coworkers $90 thermometer does.

Answer:	Warranty be damned, I desoldered and yanked out the PC speaker at the bottom of the device's mainboard. Probably not worth the trouble, but I'm so glad to be beep-free now.

Answer:	I did not receive the warranty info either, I recommend you contact seller via the link on the Amazon product listing page. The seller does state that buyers should not hesitate to contact them.

Answer:	No. These are AG3 batteries. A replacement for a G1-s should be an AG1 battery.

Answer:	This battery should work. It works in our thermometer which uses SR41 1.5v batteries.

Answer:	There is no need to shower before using this product.
Question:	Which tip is best to use for a 6 month old
Answer:	The wash and drops will eventually expire. In looking at mine, I'd guess shelf life is around 2 years. Generally, medication and such doesn't "go bad" when it expires. Rather, it begins to lose strength. Technically, durable medical equipment like the ear plugs and removal tool do expire. They can say what they want, but this is more to make sure that hospitals, ambulances, etc. replace seldom used equipment on a regular basis. Personally, I have no problem continuing to use expired tools until they become broken or discolored which is almost always years after they "expire".
Question:	When I suction my baby’s nose, on the side it shoots out booger water. Anyone else experiencing this
Answer:	The ear cleaner feel like a cool liquid not to heavy. You then use the ear plugs for 10 minutes before you wash out the ear from the spray can. Have been using this system for a few years and it work pretty well. It also comes with a plastic scrapper which I don't use.
