It does not record or note highest/ lowest readings which I assume would be what you are looking for in a multi-hour overnight model. I don't know what that means, but I do know that my relative tends to have cold fingers and the hospital did every single finger, and some toes and the ear of my relative every time, before they settled on a reading, so I am suspecting none of them are considered accurate enough to just accept the reading from one finger.

Answer:	I have browsed the User Manual and could not find anything about using this with children. I average around 110 lbs and have small hands, it works great for me. I measured the opening where you place your finger when it's closed and it's almost 3/8 of an inch. Then I took a simple Bic ink pen without all the fancy finger pads for grip, the pen slips in and out without opening the Oximeter. So children that have fingers smaller than a Bic pen won't work. I would have to say that it wouldn't work for a toddler since their fingers are so tiny. Hope this helps. Debbie

Answer:	Hi! My name is Sara and I am with Beyond Med Shop. Usually, it takes about 10 seconds after turning on the oximeter to get a reading. Please note though that when your blood perfusion level is low or when your hands are cold, the device may need more time to optimize and register an accurate reading. In this instance, we suggest that you warm your hands and fingers before taking the measurements. You can do this simply by rubbing your hands together. Remember your pulse oximeter is measuring your SpO2 and PR based on your blood flow. If the blood flow in your finger drops below a certain level, the pulse oximeter will not be able to function. Answer:	Yes I have and the heart rate is very close. I have several of these and COPD and this ones heart rate at least the one that I have is very good. On the cell phone app which is called Oximeter the oxygen sensor is way off like 5 points high which is critical and I was told that the cell phone oximeter was more designed for sports than for actual health problems! as an example a five point spread could cause major organ damage do to low oxygen!

If you put a short 8 inch length of sewing thread in the lanyard loop and fold the thread so the thread ends meet, then you can easily get the thread through the hole and pull the thread until the lanyard Loop comes through.
