If you want to calibrate this scale, please follow these steps to do:

1. Long press "M" button when the scale power on;
2. And the screen will display the calibration value, then press the "M" button to select the weights that you like (10g/20g/50g);
3. If you have a 10g calibration weights, you can press the "Power" button when the 10.000g is displayed on the screen;
4. After that, the screen will show "CAL" and flicker, put on 10g weights when the "10.000g" appears on the screen;
5. Finally, wait two seconds until the screen show "PASS", calibration is complete.

Set Up auto-off Time

About auto-off time, it will automatically turn off which saves power, but it doesn't mean that it will not consume power after turning off.

Answer:	No but as it is a mechanical beam scale it doesn't go out of calibration unless damaged. It just needs to be leveled with an empty pan to zero before use and when it's moved. These are much more reliable than any electronic scale under $500.
