Slide cuff end through metal sling and pull snug and stick excess cuff on velcro so it sticks! Place stethescope in ear e With ear piece facing forward! Pump up cuff to 180 and crack valve on ball. As soon as you hear heart beat that will be your systolic number( upper number)! Answer:	Its velcro closure. Iy has a metal clip to hold the manometer during use, but the cuff is so large it flaps over the manoneter awkwardly, i rarely used that. So bottom line, velcro no metal foldy thingy.

Answer:	They can be due to narrower arteries at the wrist, that are also closer to the skin, than theu are in the upper arm. Best to take your wrist monitor to Dr office and take a reading to compare to theirs.

Answer:	So, do you take your monitor to Drs office to check? BP & heart rate vary as you know depending on activity. In Drs office, there's always white coat syndrome, so you may read a bit higher than at home. Wrist monitors, like mine as well, will give the Dr an estimate of your readings to make an educated decision regarding med changes if needed. I keep a log. Take my BP 3x daily w/ heart rate. Those reading caused my Dr to lower my BP meds. I've been doing great since! So don't worry about the fluctuations between your readings and the Drs. Also, check your batteries. May be getting low. Answer:	NO! Usually a very large arm with a cuff too small will read artificially high. Inversely, a very small arm in a larger than desired cuff will read abnormally low. This is true even with a sphygmomameter. Every quality cuff has a size range marked on it. Take a string, or piece of tape--wrap it around your upper arm, relaxed but forearm bent, mark where the tape/string crosses, remove and measure. If within the cuff parameters you are ok. Answer:	The entire length is 22inches but it's an adult large meant to fit a smaller 8 1/2 inch are or 16 1/2 inch arm. I've used it on larger arms without any problems, but you would have to get a bigger cuff for obese patients or those with very large upper arms. In those cases I've used this cuff on the patient's forearm listening at the radial artery instead of using a larger cuff. The results are still accurate move the cuff to the forearm in a patient with an overly-large upper arm. I'm quite happy with this cuff and would purchase another one. It fits the majority of my patients

• E3 - Error appears during the process of inflation. Answer: Check if the cuff is wrapped properly, and make sure the air plug is properly plugged in.
• E5 - Abnormal blood pressure. Answer: Please repeat measuring after relax for more than 30 mins or to consult your doctor.
