Answer:	Yes, it absolutely does work. I think the most important takeaway is that this is a reasonable enough price to figure out if you actually do want to learn and stick with it. The biggest value is the 30-day membership to the Simply Piano app. I was in the same boat as you and this keyboard + app had me reading music and playing with both hands in 2 days. I played the guitar over 20 years ago, but completely forgot how to read sheet music since then. I’m back to being able to read sheet music and looking to step up to a higher quality Yamaha keyboard. Answer:	Yes. You absolutely can. You make loops from your phone on the fly, but you can also prerecord them, and store them to the looper's memory. You can even transfer loops that you've polished up on your computer via USB or and SD card. Then we build the loop on top of that by adding a few layers of synth.

Answer:	The pedal does have i think 9 what they call rythm tracs with adjustable tempos none of them are so complex that id call them "drum" tracks they are mor like beefed up fancy metranomes. you can hear them if you watch some demo videos on youtube. as far as mixing the dubs im pretty sure the input volume on the pedal remains the same so if youd like to adjust it you have to do it from the guitar or pedal board prior to the jamman. you can adjust the volume of what youve recorded so its louder or softer than what youre playing, but i think the recording volume depends on what level your guitar is at in refference to what level your guitar was at on the last dub. i hope this helps.

Answer:	You Have to place the legs on to the seat. It is a little hard, I didn’t have the strength in my hands to screw them in myself. My husband had to do it and he has already had to tighten them because they were getting loose. But I love the look of it. At the end of my bed I placed a leather box that you. Can place things in. I can’t remember what you call it. But it extends the length of my bed. The top of it matches the top of the stool.

Answer:	I’ve had a person over 300 seated with no problem, and two larger adults. Very sturdy
Question:	Is the lid heavy (and fast-closing) enough to pinch/injure little fingers
Answer:	The hinge is very tight, and ours does not open to the full extent that hinge's metal contruction allows for. Ours opens to a bit more than 45 degrees. This lid/seat is considerably heavy, which is a good thing (ie, good quality) BUT when the opened lid starts to go down, you MUST hold firmly to it, or it can escape your grip and slam down forcefully - enough that I am confident it would injure a finger or hand part. We have to hold onto the lid while reaching inside the compartment because it will not always stay open on its own. Maybe if it opend the full extent that the hinge provides, but I cannot get it to open that wide.

Answer:	All of the surfaces (legs and cross pieces and around the padded top) are very shiny/glossy.

Answer:	I find this seat very comfortable. I don't know how you can get lumbar support in a piano seat. I can only suggest wearing a back brace belt like a copper fit belt.

Answer:	It’s padded, but not extremely soft. The bench I used (for 10+ years; prior to acquiring this bench) was a high-end piece. It had over 3” of foam layers. It was nice, but I always had back pain at the end of the night. The day after I received this bench, I put it through the ringer - an hour long solo concert. At the end of the performance, I had zero back pain. I found that this bench has just enough padding, yet, it’s firm enough to offer great support; promoting better posture. Hope this helps!

Answer:	It has easy access to the 9v battery compartment so if you have a bunch of 9-volts ready to use then you should be set for any time you know you can't use a power adapter. It DOES NOT come with a power adapter... so have one or get one if you prefer that route. My Boss adapter with daisy chain powers my 4 pedals including this with no issues or drawbacks. I don't have my battery hooked up inside but it sits in there (just-in-case) because I imagine this drains batteries just as fast as most pedals do.

Answer:	It is not super glossy, there is a bit of a shine - probably like satin, but I wouldn't call it matte. It sits next to a white matte finish digital piano and it doesn't stand out that the finish is slightly different on the bench and I am real picky about things like that. Hope this helps.
