Steps for an accurate reading:

The fact that blood pressure measurements vary is no surprise. Blood pressure can vary throughout the day and responds dynamically to movements, your diet, and changes in mood.



We suggest taking measurements close to the same time each day. Place the cuff on your exposed arm approximately 1 finger-width (2cm) above the elbow. Make sure the tubing is placed at the center of your arm facing the front, and that the sensor is correctly placed. Pull at the end of the cuff so it is wrapped evenly and firmly around your arm.

Answer:	The heart symbol is a pulse indicator. Only changes when your pulse changes. Not you blood pressure. Not a blood pressure indicator.

Answer:	Unsure if anything is saved in memory - I usually write all information separately in a log to share with doctor. Am not aware that irregular heartbeat shows as a separate category - believe pressure/heart rate/and pulse are the only areas covered. I don't have the booklet with me, but it's a question to explore.

Answer:	With power off, press "SET" button two times to set the Time/Date mode. Set the month first by adjusting the " M " button. Press "SET " button again to confirm current month. Setting the day, hour and minute in the same way. Every time the " SET " button is pressed, it will lock in your selection and continue in succession (month, day, hour, minute.)
