Answer:	Hello. I am unsure since I don't play soccer. I wear the brace for tennis which includes similar torqueing and twisting, although a tennis court's surface is more stable than a soccer field. I wear stable "performance" tennis shoes to complement the brace's support. I don't feel qualified to make a recommendation due to being uncertain about the condition of your ankle.

Answer:	I wear a 10 (I actually size up to 11 in running shoes to avoid blisters on long runs) and got a medium. I put it on wrong to start with and it was very hard to get on and felt terrible on a short trial run. Got home and realized that the part where the straps are attached go under your foot. Medium feels fine. I wonder if some people complaining about size made the same mistake I did. To answer your question, medium should work for you.

Answer:	The black "base" is a neoprene sleeve that you slip over your foot and ankle. Then, you pull and wrap the white elastic straps around the ankle to tighten and support. Regardless how tight you wrap your ankle, there will still be some give. If you're looking for something more rigid, I would suggest Active Ankle 2 or Active Ankle Volt model or the similar McDavid Level 3 X ankle brace. Your doctor should be able to pull these up on a website to make his/her recommendations to what's best. Good luck.

Answer:	They do work in soccer cleats, and they are the only supportive brace that will fit, although they don’t fit into a lot of the current cleats that have a super slim last. You have to get a cleat that’s a bit wider.

Question:	My husband does a lot of kneeling, squatting and walking throughout the day. Does this brace have any issues with varied and extended use
Answer:	Good for about 20 minutes. Keep the insert in the freezer. Not recomended to ice for more than 20 minutes. It would be ok for a minor sprain, but a bit small for a knee replacement. Does not fit well over a large bandage. I bought it for my 90 year old mother who underwent a total knee replacement, and ended up borrowing a larger vinyl gel pack with a neoprene cover with Velcro fasteners. That was the way to go. Worked better than a portable electric ice pack.
Question:	Has anyone used the Bauerfeind knee brace? How do they compare
Answer:	I have no personal experience with elbow and wrist aches and pains, but I know they are in my future, so here's my take: I have very small elbows and wrists, and would use the smallest size available (I'm a 4 on top and 6 below). I bought a Medium for my total knee replacement, and it worked well, though I would suggest buying 2, as the ice packs in them are not very thick, and need refreezing frequently. you need to surround the whole joint with "cold" for the best results.

The materials used are an extremely breathable, comfortable blend. ( think cotton/poly - NOT neoprene ) Aside from the minor expected, sporadic adjustments, I've had no issues with these sleeves. They fit & work as described by manufacturer. I was skeptical of the patella cap working, applying pressure thus relieving strain on tendons/ligaments, I'm a believer now!
