Answer:	Hi LoveLoveLove!! Thanks for asking because many times the thigh measurement becomes the more critical one over the knee, especially in cases where there is such a significant difference. Our best recommendation is to order the XXL. The strap that goes around the thigh will be tight and it might be too tight for you, in which case, you can simply return it back to Amazon for a refund. The strap that goes around the actual knee might be a bit too long and you will simply need to attach it the other side of the opening - so the knee hole might be covered with neoprene which shouldn't be an issue. There is no problem if you order this and it just doesn't work as Amazon makes returns easy. Hope this helps!
Question:	Does this brace prevent lateral patella movement? (like the J braces
Answer:	Our TechWare Pro Knee Brace is not specifically a J brace but it has been designed to provide help in stabilizing the patella. What sets our product apart is the bi-directional strap system that provides even support around the patella. With most knee supports all the straps come from one direction causing an uneven pull either to the right or left which is not conducive to stabilizing the patella. With ours we have two straps supporting one direction and another strap comes from the opposite direction. This makes for more uniform compression and tension around the patella and can make a difference in preventing further injury while also helping to minimize knee pain. Also if you compare prices to J braces, we are considerably less. It might be worth trying.
Question:	How small will this adjust
Answer:	Thanks for asking. The determining factor for how small it can be adjusted is actually based on the middle strap - not the two outer straps. There has to be enough velcro to hold the middle strap in place and because of the shape of the middle strap, it can only be pulled so far thru the opening of the two outer straps before it bunches up. So with the most minimal acceptable amount of velcro holding the middle strap closed - and with no bunching - the circumference measured is 12 inches. Keep in mind, this would mean that some of the velcro (hook side) would actually be laying over the exposed knee hole. If no other person would be using the knee support, the extra velcro could be cut off so that it does not cover the knee hole. Also keep in mind that this measurement of 12 inches is not under tension. So if the knee in question is smaller than 12 inches, the knee brace will most likely slide down the leg. As always, if you make the purchase and the knee support doesn't meet your needs, you can simply return it. Hopefully I have explained this well.

Answer:	I own this brace and the 875. I purchased both in 2014. I use the 875 every week in Houston while playing tennis and the 872 is used about 1/2 the time on the other knee. I tried on many brands and the Shock Doctors felt like they gave me the best support but everybody's knee is different. I don't see any excessive wear on the 875 even though I have been using it 3 hours a week for 6 years in the high humidity and heat of Houston. I can push off as hard as possible and it does not slow me down. I would not call it comfortable but it is very comforting to know I can't hurt my knee.

Question:	I measured 2" below the center of the knee cap and got 14.25" to 14.5" . Would you recommend the L or XL
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

Answer:	No. This product does not have the little tube as the McDavid and others do. Still, depending on what you are needing the brace for, it may work just fine. I like mine, even though I'd been using the others for several years.

Answer:	Place the base strap below your knee-cap directly over the patella tendon - the strap should be centered over the tendon. Secure both ends to a comfortable snug fit. Adjust the straps to apply additional tension over the tendon; re-adjust as necessary. DO NOT over-tighten.

Answer:	It should be worn right under the knee cap. I don't understand why other people feel the need to answer in such a snarky manner. Maybe being jerks makes them feel superior.

Question:	Do you measure the girth below the knee, at the knee, or above the knee
Answer:	I actually did not measure since I have purchased several different braces lately. I would recommend measuring just above and below the knee. Of course the upper opening is going be a bit larger since it will be going over the thigh. I will say I love this brace.
Question:	I’m not sure how to wrap my knee in this. Should have kept the box
Answer:	The top is the opening opposite the straps. When you leg is fully in the sleeve, the straps are on the bottom and in the back. To tighten the straps, (there are two straps) pull the one on the right side around to the front, just below the knee, across the front and around to the back again, and attach it to the velcro pad in the front. Do the same thing with the strap on the left side, just oppositebringing it from the left side around to the right, then around the back of your leg and attaching it to the velcro pad in the front, Both straps attach to the same velcro pad in the front, so each strap can use only 1/2 of the pad to attach. If you find it to be too tight after you walk for awhile, the straps can be attached to the brace not quite at the velcro pad. I did this the last time I wore the brace, and it was more comfortable. I hope this makes sense for you. It's a great knee brace.

Answer:	To be honest it's not worth buying, because there is zero support. It does fit large calfs but it just slides down with no support

Answer:	Hand or machine wash your brace once in a while depending on the intensity of using the brace. When machine washing, choose cold delicate program and put tumble dry low. Do not iron nor bleach the sleeve. We can't assure 100% that after drying the brace in a dryer it will remain it's initial form and functionality.
