Answer:	JLS answer is wrong. I have the same inside pain to right knee and I ordered the one JLS said medial right/lateral left. The correct one is actually medial left/lateral right. Going to the DonJoy website clearly states that the silicone oval pad should press against the pain side. The medial left/lateral right has this pad on the inside for the right knee and would therefore be on the outside for the left knee.

The J type will usually push from the outside-inward, so maybe a lateral J for the left knee would work on your right. I'd consult an athletic trainer or physical therapist to make certain you are getting the correct model for your situation though.

Answer:	My grandson played baseball (3rd base) with it and it worked fine for that. My son, who also had ACL surgery, is a construction worker (electrician/union) and he wasn't allowed back on the job until the brace was no longer needed and he had to have a doctors release. Not sure how that works in your area but they aren't easy to hide under pants so if wearing one is against the rules of your company or union it might not work.

Answer:	My 17 year old daughter wore this brace on both ankles for her senior year in basketball last year. She had serious ankle surgery as a sophomore and numerous ankle sprains her junior year. 43 games later and an Arkansas state championship she did not suffer one sprain while wearing the brace. She loved the braces but unfortunately neither of us have experience in gymnastics. She said she felt some limits in her lateral movement (she's a post player) but nothing significant. Sorry we can't be of more help to you - the brace worked wonderfully for her, but we are not certain about it's use in gymnastics. Good luck!!!

Answer:	Yes they do fit inside the shoe. She didn't have to go to a larger shoe size. My daughter was a senior this year (2015). She ruptured her ankle tendon during her sophomore year. We tried the less expensive braces from Sports Academy her junior year but she had several moderate ankle sprains during the season and summer camps. I purchased the DonJoy Velocity ES at the beginning of her senior year based on her coach's recommendation and she loved it. I then purchased another for her other ankle. She had zero sprains (yes we could have been fortunate also) after she started wearing the braces covering 43 games including becoming the Class 2A Arkansas State Champions (sorry couldn't resist a little bragging). The only thing I can't verify is any speed impact. My daughter is a 6' post player and speed was never her strong suite, but I don't believe the braces slowed her down. Two other girls on her team purchased a DonJoy afterwards and both were very satisfied. I would recommend buying the Extra Support (ES) model, that made a difference in my daughter's confidence in her ankle. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I wear a size 7.5 shoe. Probably could have gone with a small, but I have larger calf muscles and went with a medium. I play soccer and it fits well in my cleats. Answer:	Don't know about size chart. I have size 10-10.5 feet and the medium speed lace is a little small. However the medium regular lace up is perfect. I also find the Velcro on the speed lace leaves a bump where it attaches. I will go back to the manual lace up version which works well for me.
