Answer:	If yours is like mine, i would not try it due to the stitching causing it to ravel a loose. I have an actual comfort cool from the ortho clinic and thought I was ordering the same one for backup, while washing original one, but have found out theses are NOT comfort cools by any stretch of the imagination & is just a poor replication of one. My thumbs on mine are too long & extend out far above my nails. What is shown is a "real" comfort cool" & mine doesn't look feel nor wear anything like my original one. A waste of money, but I do use them for back-up for only short periods of time since, it causes an abnormal thumb extension/position when wearing it, where the real splint does not. Good luck!!!
Question:	How do I measure for sizing
Answer:	You need to measure your palm circumference to determine the size of the splint you require- measure from the "v" where the thumb and the index finger meet, around the circumference of the palm ......small - 6" to 7"; Sm.Plus - 6 1/2" to 7 1/4"; Medium - 7" to 8"; Med.Plus 7 1/4" to 8 1/4". If you need further sizing just let me know.
Question:	How do you "mold" this for a persons hand/wrist
Answer:	As the pre-ordering/packaging instructs, you need to measure around /maybe slightly below the knuckles. It also mentions that for 'plus' sizes, they are designed about a 'half size larger in the hand and one size larger in the thumb for those with enlarged thumbs'. ( took this quote directly off the package they arrived in) I am sure it should also be on the order form. Answer:	I have small hands and the thumb portion covers my whole thumb with mane a 1/4" leftover. Just keep in mind it is adjustable so you can pull it further down on the thumb tightening the wrist strap.

My forearm where the upper strap is located is about 10", I just measured, I could probably cut about 2" off the strap and still get a fairly secure fit (but I won't. But also, I haven't washed the brace yet so this measurement is independent of any shrinkage from washing.

Answer:	Yes, I have both, though the black set. They have different descriptions. You pick both the size and the hand (left or right). I bought both in beige a while ago. It was different sized than the black, so I returned them and got black again. But yes, their Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction splints of all sizes are available in left or right handed orders.

Choose the Right Thumb Brace

1. Pain and swelling at the base of the thumb can be relieved through supporting, protecting and resting the thumb joint. Contoured strap wraps under thumb joint and is held securely in place by hook and loop to cradle the thumb.
2. Strap is then pulled upward and in between thumb and forefinger. Tighten to comfort and secure to small strip of hook.
3. Upper wrist and lower portion of palm is supported while still allowing full finger function. Adjustable hook and loop closure on the dorsal side (back of hand) can be tightened for comfort and light compression.
4. The thin perforated neoprene is soft, pliable, less bulky to gently restrict thumb movement while allowing the ability to still grip and grasp during daily activities.
5. Thumb sleeve can be trimmed with scissors below the MP joint to allow for upper joint mobility of the thumb.
