Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it. They are fine for random contact but not for gripping something hot.

Question:	I have thumb joint pain and throbbing. Will this help relieve that or just aggravate it

Question:	does the pad cover the bone at the bottom of the wrist, below the thumb pad of the palm
Answer:	Yes...my problem is that the pad is not centred on my palm (it goes from mid thumb to around the hand on the pinkie side), but it does go down to the bottom.
Question:	Are the gel pads removable
Answer:	No but the pads are heat attached and after several mos the pads slip and move around. I actually placed them and then stapled them so they stay in place.
Question:	Are these good and ok to use to play video games
Answer:	I use this because I use a mouse, and the padding protects the lower part of my palm. I can't say if it helps carpal tunnel if that's what you have... I hope this answer helps.
