Answer:	There are multiple ways to do it, but I take it apart and soak the pieces, EXCEPT for the lighter section, in a container or ziplock bag with rubbing alcohol and let it soak for awhile. Make sure to cover the pieces with the rubbing alcohol. Then I clean each piece with a q-tip or pipe cleaner, rinse them off, let them dry and put it back together. Good luck.

Answer:	There is no filter. If you mean the white thing with holes in it. Just soak it in boiling hot water for a couple minutes then clean it with a toothbrush. Push the bristles through the holes. You should be good.
