Answer:	I just received this mirror and it is absolutely deceiving. I have one with two buttons, one for defogger and the other for brightness. I was under the impression that the brightness button when touched will also shut the light ON/OFF as specified in the description. Especially since It comes with a cord to be plugged behind the mirror. This however doesn’t work that way. The button only changes the brightness but does not turn it on or off. So right now I have the mirror plugged into an outlet behind it and no way of turning the light off. It’s stuck on. So in conclusion it has to be hardwired into a wall switch to be turned off.

We’ve had it longer than I realized, but confirmed purchasing it in Dec. 2013! Especially nice is the frozen to toast feature. Sure it takes a few extra minutes, but the toast comes out just as it should, based on our chosen setting. This is an electronic toaster with motorized descend and ascend of your bread, as opposed to a spring loaded model from yesteryear. When I’ve called Brevile for assistance, they’ve always been very professional and helpful. They also offer new models of appliances you have, when you wish to upgrade as a trade in, which is nice. Question:	I need accurate overall measurements plus slot dimensions. how even is the toasting (with the lack of heating elements in the middle of each slot
Answer:	It utilizes a metallic wire as the heating element. There are reflective plates onto which the metallic wire is mounted with spacers. This toaster browns extremely evenly no matter what size bread you are toasting. If you will not be toasting over sized loafs of bread or pastries, I would suggest getting the smaller sized unit. The toast slots are a bit shorter but they are the same width to accommodate thick slices. The smaller unit is almost $100 cheaper as well. All in all, you will not be disappointed in the purchase of either size of this toaster. A great product that will also reward you with numerous compliments as well.

Question:	Do the heating elements move to adjust for different bread thicknesses
Answer:	I agree that the slots are big enough for sliced bagels, not a whole bagel. The heating elements themselves do not move closer to the bread/bagels, there are so-called 'clamps' that once the bread is lowered into the toaster, it will close/lock in the bread, from both sides to hold the bread in the middle of the heating elements so that the bread does not lean to one side or the other. It then releases when toasting is complete and rises to the top. Personally I think this helps to toast evenly on both sides.

Answer:	The outside gets hot and the instructions say to keep it away from flammable objects. I got mine yesterday and am impressed with how evenly it toasts.
