Question:	What is the thickness of these bags? How many mil
Answer:	There is no MIL listed on the box, however I compared them to some 1.05 MIL trash bags that I already had, and they are THINNER. When I open a bag and hold it up to the light I can see through it! I needed contractor bags and these are definitely NOT. I am returning.

Answer:	The Seller is not accurate. They definitely are NOT 1.5 MIL. There is no MIL listed on the box (it is just brown cardboard with no label). But these bags are thinner than the 1.05 MIL trash bags that I already had. When I open a bag and hold it up to the light, I can actually see through it. I cannot see through the 1.05 MIL bags. I'm guessing these are .9 or less. I needed contractor bags (at least 2.0 MIL) and these definitely are not, so I am returning.
Question:	Are these individually folded
Answer:	Yes they are individually folded and easy to open as well. One thing though, as I have using them I have found some slice-like holes in just a couple of them. Also they are thin and when I pick up small branches or pokey stickers I do double them up to keep them from tearing open. Cheap alternative to other type outdoor trash bags.

Question:	looks like it has no strings to close the bags. What are the ties for
Answer:	Hi, give me a few days, I'll measure them and reply again. The measurements are probably differing because the bottom is narrower than the top. The Sterlite site says Dimensions:17" L x 11 1/8" W x 12 3/4" H. This seems about right. My original plan was to store them with the short side facing the wall of the closet shelf, I didn't like the amount overhang on the shelf so I am storing them long side to wall and it is working out fine for me.

I would be a little concerned about outdoor temperature and what items are being cooled, eg meat,seafood, etc. I do believe it works best in a enclosed item like a cooler which you can then take a serving tray out with the product and serve fo a short period of time, keeping a eye out for any insects.
