Answer:	They are more flexible than some other clear plastic brands. But they work well and I haven't had any trouble with them breaking during use. I only broke one knife and that was after cutting lots of hard cheese.I don't see any chance of these being a choking hazard. Their flexibility makes them less likely to snap than stiffer plastic cutlery.
