The weakest spot would appear to be the rivets holding the seat to the front legs that allow the seat to pivot for folding, (which is basically the same for all folding chairs). The last folding chair that I tossed out had a broken weld at the front cross brace. | Answer: | My chair broke holding under 400 pounds. I mainly kept it folded up in the kitchen with a LifeTime fold up table but used my rollator (it was just annoying trying to get that heap of steel out of the kitchen but I eventually bought another to keep there permanently). Company was over and I was using it at my desk for a couple of days when the legs just gave out and luckily, it folded where I ended up laying down (I have very bad knees and also bought an falsely rated shower chair which damaged me irreparably). That said, for an event its a stronger chair of its type, but would fall short of the type you could term the card table chair. I would not plan on sitting on it for more than an hour or so and today I see the results of your question in that this chair is being sold at closeout sites for $9 and $10. I would not want anyone getting hurt either. I never reviewed it and glad I didn't. Like I said, it was barely used even though I bought it in 2015 and once I used it for a few days and more frequently and more than two hours at a stretch, it was broken in under five days. |

| Answer: | Here's the easiest way.... The back of the seat snaps into place to make it secure. You hear the click when you fully open the chair. To close the chair you need to 'unlock' it. Step 1: Put your foot gently (not full weight) on the front bar under the front of the seat. Your goal is to provide gentle resistance so seat can unlock and chair can fold. Step 2: Fold the chair as you would any other folding chair (lifting front of the seat toward backrest). Your foot (which is gently holding the front 'legs' down) will allow the chair to unlock. | Answer: | I spent like 30 minutes trying to figure how to fold this thing! So you have to first make sure it's fully reclined and you should hear a "click" sound to know that it's locked in place. Then you have to push down and apply pressure with one hand at the back of the chair seat and use your other hand to pull up on the front of the chair seat. This was confusing for me since I've always just used plastic foldable chairs in the past and only had to pull from the front of the seat. |

| Answer: | I usually put the fabric on the front legs first. Then stretch it up for the back rest. It's tight. But holding chair down and hooking one side of back rest and waiting a bit stretces the fabric. Makes it easier. After the first time,sit in it. It gets better alot easier. |

| Answer: | I'm not exactly sure what the true weight limit is. But we were using them at an after school program for kids from K - 12th grade and their tutors of age 18 - 50. My best guess would be 200-225 lbs was the max weight among our users. But we did have some other chairs on site. The chair has a very substantial feel to it and mine weighs in at about 11.6 pounds, (the specs show a shipping weight of 12 pounds). The weakest spot would appear to be the rivets holding the seat to the front legs that allow the seat to pivot for folding, (which is basically the same for all folding chairs). The last folding chair that I tossed out had a broken weld at the front cross brace.
