Answer:	No, it does not arrive fueled.
Question:	My new insert lights up but the flame never lasts for more than half a second and just gone. Why is that happening
Answer:	I have the single torch insert and had almost the same issue, my flame would last maybe 2 seconds then go out. I was all set to return it, but I thought maybe it needs a good purge? It wouldn't hurt to try, so i vented the insert completely, waited a couple seconds and vented again and repeated this process until i couldn't hear any more pressure venting off. I then filled with the same butane canister I had already been using (not the high-priced Zippo butane, but Vector 14, which has never given me any problems). Just like magic - it works like it should now, and has ever since (at least 15 refills later). Long story short: Vent it completely, vent it some more, vent it again until no more butane/inerts/whatever gasses off and refill - it fixed my hard-to-light, short-burning-flame insert. Very happy with the single torch. I've also got the double torch, not so pleased with it - i got it to act like it should after purging, but the dual flames burn through the butane faster. Why, I'd bet it's almost twice as fast.
Question:	Do I need to use zippo brand butane or can I use another brand such as Newport
Answer:	Newport is the purest butane widely available. You definitely won't have any trouble with it. Vector has the best detergents in it. You can't go wrong with either. If Ronson is a recommended brand, you shouldn't have any trouble with any brand (Ronson is the dirtiest butane I've ever used). That being said, I recommend Neon 750. There isn't a better bargain butane. It's about 250% the size of regular butane cans and costs $3 and change... Fantastic deal

Zippo's new lighter insert collection including, this Double Torch Butane Insert, provides a new flame for the classic design. Step 1: How to Fill

All Zippo Butane Inserts will be packaged and shipped unfilled. To start filling, remove Zippo insert from either the packaging or lighter case. When removing places on either side of the insert below the chimney. Be sure to flip the insert into an upside-down position. Be sure to fill or refill in a well-ventilated place, and always keep the insert or lighter away from face.

Step 2: How to Fill

Once the lighter is upside down, place the butane fuel nozzle into the filling valve, located at the bottom right hand side of the insert. Refill the insert for 6 seconds.

Please wait an additional two minutes after filling to use the insert.

Flame Adjuster

An adjustable flame dial on the end of the Insert lets you easily control the flame height, providing extra flame height when needed.

Flip butane insert upside down, use a paper clip or a dime to twist the screw left or right. The positive and negative sign will indicate a larger or smaller flame.

Question:	how do you fill it
Answer:	hi, you need butane gas in the aerosol can. i have gasone 5x. on the bottom of the lighter there is an adjustment wheel for height of flame. it is black. as you look at the bottom of the wheel you will see a small hole in the middle of it. this is the filler valve. holding the butane can upside down quickly press the nozzle against the valve. there may be some leakage until you get the correct angle. this gas will be very cold so avoid prolonged skin contact. when you have a good seal the gas will flow until the lighter is full. i do not know if the following is recommended practice but it works for me: i place the lighter in the freezer for 5-10 minutes before i fill it. this seems to allow it to fill more completely. i hope this helps.

Answer:	its good for any lighter that uses butane, be it cigars, cigarettes, or other pipes that use a lighter to ignite tobacco or other natural leafy items.

Answer:	Yes, it is under pressure. When you compress a gas under constant temperature it will, eventually, become liquid. There is "x" volume of gas in the can, but in liquid form that volume is lower, and so makes it feel only half or one third full.

Answer:	No. It is illegal to ship combustable substances in the mail unless in a special container. The lighter has a "cotton ball" on the inside of it that soaks up fluid, but the fluid will slowly evaporate over time.
