2)Insert the butane pipe

Answer:	You may have the same problem I had; the flame control had been turned off over time. If you haven't already, try opening up the flame control on the bottom of the lighter. You should see a notch on both sides of the valve where you refill the butane. Use a screwdriver or another flat edge and turn counter clockwise to increase the flame and clockwise to decrease it. You don't need to turn it much to fully open or fully close. Hope that helps.

Answer:	like most butane lighters, it comes without gas. you have to fill it with butane (purchased separately). nothing about it is flammable until you fill it with butane. of course, since this hundred dollar lighter only works sporadically, and the manufacturer doesn't care to support their product, it's only occasionally flammable even when it is filled with butane.

Question:	Does the watch function actually work on this
Answer:	I've tried and trashed two of them. The battery is just for the watch function and when it dies in a few weeks or months it is not replaceable. I asked my watch/jewelry shop to change the batter but it's not possible. The lighting is another issue. If adjusted correctly and properly filled mine both worked for the lighter function however I will not wear a lighter watch that doesn't tell time. Novelty or not that isn't gonna happen.
