| Answer: | The child-proof function makes the lighter very hard to use. It can be disabled this way: Take a flat-blade screwdriver, stick the blade into the gap in front of the button and pry the button up. Don't break the button off. Stop prying when you hear a click. After that, the child-proof function will be disabled. But be careful not to hurt yourself with the screwdriver when prying. It's the best to wear protective gloves. I disabled both of my lighters, and they are very easy to use now. Good luck to everybody. |
