Answer:	I would not recommend it for slicing bread . Buy a bread slicer or a bread knife. It is a commercial grade meat slicer. It is great for deli meats. or even if you want to make jerky , just make sure your raw meat is partly frozen or very chilled.

Answer:	You can make a 7 inch slice. I make venision chip steak with it and it slices very nice.

Answer:	I haven't used it on frozen meat yet, but I can imagine after using it on refrigerated meat, it will work well on frozen meat also. You will have to go a little slower and not let it bog down, but I am planning on freezing my sirloin tip roasts before I cut next time to get a more consistent cut for making jerky. I am going to let it thaw a bit first before attempting it.

Answer:	It would have to be half full. In fairness, most carry on limits are 7kg/15lb now, especially international. So you can’t rely on being able to fill it up even as a standard carry on outside the US. Fully packed out, mine is usually 11kg. Good US carriers on domestic flights have allowed, as well as some good carriers in Europe. but travelling Asia it has had to be 7kg.

Answer:	No the top does not collapse. It zips shut so as long as it is zipped shut it will maintain its form. The material is pretty rigid as well.

Answer:	These are made in China. The KWS and Kuppet slicers are all made in China. You can tell just by the price. A made-in-the-USA Hobart slicer of this size costs $6,000.

Answer:	Back of the tray to the blade edge is 9.25". From the face of the blade to the furthest you can retract the pusher is 7". If you don't use the pusher the tray itself is 11" deep

Answer:	I believe it is, but I can't verify that. Unfortunately, it seems that the company from which I ordered sent it to the wrong address and I never received it. The order had to be cancelled and a refund was given. Still don't know where the item went.
