And although Gleener Fuzz Removers are highly effective for most garments and upholsteries, it is NOT recommended for use on flannel as it wears out the edge surfaces too quickly. Athletic gear, burnout fabrics and ultra-thin or shear t-shirts are also not recommended for Gleener use. Question:	The product description says "dritz d-fuzz-it" but the product picture is "collins sweater & fabric comb." which product do customers receive
Answer:	Yes. It doesn’t leave any sort of color or residue on the sweater.
Question:	Will it work to remove pilling from Jersey cotton sheets? What about polyester leggings
Answer:	I haven’t specifically used it on a Patagonia sweater. But, have used it on expensive cashmere sweaters and it did the job! Excellent.
Question:	How do you clean it when when teeth get filled with lint
Answer:	I have been selling these since 2007 and have had many conversations with the owner, Fred Meath, about what you can use these on and a test is always recommended. I have used them on everything from my fine silk knit sweater to my hand-made afghans and my office chair as well as a 27 year old sweatshirt that I LOVE dearly. Try them out on an unseen section and use little to no pressure. Always go with the direction of the knit or weave. As a knitter, the direction of the knit is the direction of the yarn loops. But please do not press on the stone. You only have to lightly moved these with no downward pressure. As with anything, damage may happen as a result of not knowing how to use something. SO TEST, TEST, TEST and learn how to use them. I am always available to answer any questions on these and if I don't know, I will call Fred for you. In all the millions of these sold, Fred told me there were about 25 or so problems reported and most of those were operator malfunction.By the way, the mess reported in one answer is part of why they rarely do damage while shavers frequently do as they pull the fabric into the rotating blades and cut holes. Just shake it out and vacuum the floor. The "mess" is the stone breaking before it tears the fabric. And yes you do have to move your arm but you do that with a shaver, and the same motion as these.These are great for knits, for woven fabrics, for crocheted items, for cashmere and acrylic and wool and more. GREAT on Sweats and Sweaters. Many dry cleaners use these to remove the pills for you and they charge for it - A LOT!
Question:	Why is the product's picture different than the product description? Is this a Dritz product
Answer:	It works on both types (thick and thinner) knits, as well as sweatshirt materials. However, just note that the sweater stone "shaves" off loose and pilling fibers, so if your sweater is thin, it may actually make the sweater patchy and bare. Best to use on medium to thick sweaters.
