Answer:	I believe the 10 and 16.9 oz come with the spray attachment. The 33.8oz does not.

Answer:	Laurie, yes, that's what I use it for. Try to make sure you use it on a clean, wet blanket. I purchased a defective Snuggit blanket online, and I was about ready to throw it away and buy another. But I took a chance on this product, and washed the blanket with Nikwax Rug Wash, then hung the blanket and sprayed it heavily with this product. I let it dry for a couple of days in the sun, and voila! The next time it rained, the water beaded up, and my horse was snug and warm and dry. That was a few months ago, and the rain still beads up on the blanket. I've purchased another small bottle, to use at the end of the winter season. I'm going to wash the blanket and re-treat it with the Nikwax spray-on, before storing it until next winter. I've also purchased and used Nikwax Rug Proof, but I like this spray on much better. Answer:	The spray is an easier method for treating your apparel. The wash-in may last longer, however this depends on how often you'll be using your clothing.

Answer:	Not sure. I tried it on my son's jacket (Poly-cotton) didn't work but when I put it on my underarmer pants (84% polyester)It work but for sure cotton won't work

Answer:	This product is designed to work on soft shell jackets (like a stretchable polyester material) however it may still work on nylon. I would suggest checking out the regular NikWax TX Direct Spray-on which is designed for materials that are more like your nylon jacket.

Answer:	Great question. I believe they perform the same purpose. Its a marketing thing. If there is a way to ask the manufacturer, I would. Personally, I use this for my wearabke clothing and the tx direct for my tent ans backpack.
Question:	I've used nikwax's tx direct for hard and soft shells with no probs. why should i buy the soft shell proof instead
Answer:	All of the nikwax is formulated slightliy differently to stick to different types of fabric. softshell material is slightly thinner and stretchier than hardshell faberic, so softshell wash in will work better than a hardshell wash in. However if you are trying to put a hardshell in and a softshell in the wash at the same time to make it more efficient, it will probably work.

Answer:	depends how much weather your item sees. with my brushed leather work shoes I think I applied it twice in 30 days (just to make sure) in the fall,then once again in the spring. I run deliveries for a local bakery in western N.Y. state so I am out in all kinds of rain and puddles and mud. I wear serious boots in the winter so these shoes don't see snow deeper than two inches and in summer I wear gym shoes. this stuff is terrific! and by the way,I used it on the gym shoes twice as well and it's still working great! really good stuff! I imagine a leather jacket would only need one application unless you're out in the rain everyday. hope this helps.

Answer:	I used it for a canvas umbrella and can sit under it in very heavy rain without it leaking. I've had it on for over a year and it's still good (bought extra canisters for this year as previous stuff only lasted a season but haven't had to use them yet). My camping days are long over but I would certainly try this out for canvas tenting.

Answer:	Absolutely! Canvas, fabric, leather. It absorbs quickly, but you should give it at least 12 hrs drying time before exposure to water

Answer:	Yes, this is the best waterproofing spray I have ever tried. If you do a thorough job spraying it on (you don't need to soak your shoes, just completely spray the whole surface) your shoes or boots will be waterproof and will keep your feet dry. I re-spray my shoes once a year. The only wrinkle is: if the snow is so deep that it comes in over the tops of your boots, obviously no waterproofing treatment can help you.

Answer:	No more noisy than other nylon or polyester jackets. It's not as quiet as cotton or fleece. So no good for stalking deer through the brush...

Answer:	PVC coated oxford cloth nylon does not breathe any more than a plastic trash bag breathes. If you need breathability, then this type of jacket is not the right thing for you. You will get wet from sailing or rapid spray, but this helps to keep you warm while that happens.
Question:	I don't see anything about breathability. is this breathable
Answer:	A lot will depend on how you want to wear it. If you plan on putting bulky sweat shirts underneath a medium may be better. If mostly wearing with just a single layer a small would be good.

Answer:	Hello. It depends on what the garment is made of. This product is made for outdoor gear. I guess for work wear you need some heavy industrial solution to ensure total oil repellency.

Answer:	I would not think that would be a good idea the mask is so pose to be breathable that I feel would prevent it . Also I dont think it would be wise to breath in the fumes after the fact . Just my opinion.

Answer:	Hello - This product is not designed for indoor use. We would not recommend using it on carpet for your application. For carpet we would recommend using the Scotchgard Rug & Carpet Protector.
Question:	will this work on indoor carpet for pet pee and other pet accidents
Answer:	It might! My wife uses this all the time on her job sites. She says certain white rubbers will yellow after some prolonged sunlight exposure. Best to test it and leave in the sun to make sure it won't yellow.
Question:	Would this stain white tennis shoes
Answer:	Yes. The only type of leather this would not work on is raw (or untreated) leather and suede. Our only advice is to apply a light coating, preferably with a microfiber cloth. This allows for less product to be used and prevents overspray. Then wipe off any excess completely. If the leather is heavily soiled, a second treatment may be required. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Not sure nylon jacket, I got 2 of them but I dispose to the garbage, I did used to my leather and canvas shoes and spray nicely sufficient 2x 24 hrs in between but didn't even work. You can try it but don't buy 2 cans

Answer:	Don't know. You should probably just use starboard.

Answer:	Yes, I put them on my convertible top that was 10 years old so leaking a lot, but I put them on the top and no more leaking.Prefectly good for top! I recommend!

Answer:	I do not have a down coat, but I would not hesitate to use starseal on it if I did! I used this on almost Everything I use outside, from coats to boots to gloves, even my umbrella. It does have a strong oder that will last a few days, but does dissipate, it worked very well on all tight knit cloth and materials, it worked great on my leather boots and gloves for a week or so. Does no do well on lose knitted items, ie: sweaters, it does waterproof the material, but water still runs through the knit. I just ed purchased a new couch, and will be spraying with starseal before I leave for work in the morning. NOTE: APPLY ONLY IN WELL VENTILATED AREAS.
Question:	Anyone tried this on a Down Jacket
Answer:	I have only used this on my tent and tent fly. I wash and rinse and spray the product over entire fly. After a few minutes I use damp cloth to smooth out any excess spray. Then I let dry completely before I pack tent to store. So no heat required and when it dries it's good to go. Hope this helps.

Question:	i got a new patagonia nano puff jacket, can i add more waterproofing with this
Answer:	No it does not. It states on the label "no PFCs" and "no fluorocarbons", both terms are synonyms for PFAS.
Question:	Does this contain any pfas compounds
Answer:	You can actually use a little less than is suggested when you use a front loading washer. It works great in mine with half the recommended amount so I basically get twice as many washes out of a single bottle.
Question:	Any feedback with use of front loading washing machines
Answer:	Each bottle is 10 ounces; however, if you read the washing instructions, you may want to order more than one set of Tech Wash and Soft-shell Wash, especially if you own a number of garments. For instance, Tech Wash recommends 5 fluid ounces (half the bottle) be used to machine wash up to 6 garments. Despite this drawback, the Nikwax products have been great; I've been using them for about ten years for washing Gore-tex. The TX Direct is good for bringing back the water repellent finish.
Question:	Is each product 10 oz? Or are they 10 oz in total
Answer:	Since my breatheable waders are no longer under warranty, I am going to give it a go as I have everything to gain IF it works.
