Question:	Where were these dryer balls produced and packaged
Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry! We appreciate your questions because it helps us grow! The only difference really is the color. But, there are those who say that they use the dark ones for darker clothes and the white one for lighter clothes that way there is no chance of the wool leaving small fibers visible on the clothing. But we have never noticed that happening on our laundry when drying with the wool balls, so basically it is a preference of color.
Question:	how long do they last
Answer:	There is not a wool dryer ball on the market this is legitimately organic. The wool comes from sheep, and we source our wool from small family farms in New Zealand, and because of trade and customs law, it all goes through a cleaning process after it is sheared to prevent any insects or diseases from crossing a country's border. They use natural cleaners in New Zealand and then ship the cleaned wool to Nepal. There is a fabulous company there that supports local women with fair wages and child care we have that makes our balls. They hand felt all of our wool balls and ship them to us! So, there are some companies that claim their wool is organic, but it cannot be truly certified. If anything is organic, it is only the PROCESS that can be certified, not the wool. ESPECIALLY if you see it is New Zealand wool- always ask who certified them if they are making the claim. Our laundry powder can also be called organic and we can get it certified! However, the truth is that it is the process they are certifying, not our actual powder. Sodium bicarbonate, for example, is pure (like wool) but it is a naturally occurring element, suitable for organic formulations (all of our ingredients are!) but like a sheep (or dog or bird) we cannot call it certified organic. Organic, by definition, is of, relating to, or derived from living matter. So if we go by definition, our wool is organic. Biological organics are a process and it relates to foods... We could go on and on! Organic cotton is different because they will not allow pesticides in the fields, or in processing, etc. And our wool is also not treated with pesticides (it's harmful to the sheep and the workers) but still, great question, and thank you for your support!
