Answer:	I'm not 100% sure what you're asking so I'll explain it like this. This is the new Lavender scent and is called Calm. If your referring to the original Lavender scent, which was called Lavender Serenity, they are both a mix of lavender and vanilla and the fragrance is very close, if not the same scent. Lavender is very calming and I love it. If you are referring to the original Downy scent they started with years ago, that scent is called April Fresh and is a completely different scent. There are no similarities at all to this one. The April Fresh scent is still available on Amazon. Look for the pink cap. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I strictly only use Downy and unfortunately I was not happy with this item. Mine came out really think and looked and smelled different than what I get at a store. Using a HE front load washer, the liquid was so thick it would clog the dispenser. I would not recommend this product.

Answer:	I have the Lock & Lock with same style lids, you can use the lids while microwaving BUT you CANNOT lock the lid in place like when storing the food. You must lay the lid on top of the container so it sits loosely on top. This allows steam to escape during heating. However, there will still be some steam inside after microwaving so be careful when removing it from the microwave as well as when lifting the lid off of the container.
