Answer:	They make noise, but nothing to crazy the are balls in the dryer I wouldn't expect and less

I finally had to replace them after 8 months (purchased in April, replaced in Dec same year) which was perfectly fine with me. I knew I needed to replace when they left linty residue behind on a load of shirts for the first time ever (looked like I owned an animal which we don't). I recently bought a different brand (hand made in the USA) and was really disappointed. Looks like they will shed after only a couple uses. I am back to buy these again instead. Just wish they made the dark wool one's so I could alternate & stretch out the usage longer!

Answer:	I make dryer balls myself and you do not need to wash them. They do need to be dry to work well in the dryer. You can (like suggested) use essential oil for fragrance. Wool that has been washed does not smell to good. Over time it will go away. If you notice any static, put a little white vinegar at the beginning of your wash cycle. I have used mine to 3 1/2 years and have no static in my clothes. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Most as I’m just learning (lil quick research) can say they are NZ wool BUT they may process n make the end products in China and who knows what chemicals or processing they’re using to clean the wool and what environment. I ALMOST went for the cheapest ones but like nutmilk bags, even “organic” ones are ordered from alibaba (they have Chinese connections), say products are organic but aren’t certified and will use pieces that aren’t organic and glued n synthetics...some ppl really care about the process, the planet and the chemicals and end products used. Things should be transparent but usually aren’t as most don’t know or knowingly scam ppl. Unfortunately China is pretty polluted and practices are questionable as well, not just to the environment but their own people as well and that’s why certifications help and it’s upto you if you still wanna go that route. But if u are trying to avoid chemicals and help the planet, it is a lil harder of trying to buy something you think is good (not you specifically but generally ppl), but then may not know or find out later that it’s not truly 100% what was expected like fully organic and environmentally friendly as much as possible. Answer:	I know its been years since this question was asked. But incase someone is still looking for the same answer. 5-6 balls are recommended per load with the dryer filled no more than 75%. No matter which brand you use , they all have the same information regarding how many balls to use and the dryer capacity. A little fun tidbit. Answer:	I have a glass jar with lid, that I store them in, testing on top of some marbles. I’m the jar is a 3:3:1 of rose water, rubbing alcohol, and aloe gel, with a essential oil mixture (cedar, chamomile, cinnamon, patchouli, lavender). I keep this on the dryer so it heats up and the balls soak up the perfume through closed environment and condensation. Answer:	I've been using all 4 but tend to do large loads. I used to use 2 of the old blue ones but they were softer & my clothes had more static. So I'm not sure if using more is reducing the static or if these are just better because they are harder.

Answer:	Firm, and worth every penny! Dry ALL my bedspreads from Target and they help sooo much. Also, my son washed his Nautica Down filled coat. These balls are exactly what instructions say to use.

Question:	Can they be used in a front load dryer
Answer:	LOL. Thanks for making me laugh! A top loading dryer is a clothes line! Dryer balls must be hung in between the hanging clothes. They only work when it’s windy.

Answer:	Actually I bought these balls and within 3-4 laundry two of them bursts. I sent the costumer service a request for refund and got my money back. I had 4 other similar ones that lasted me so far about 5 years. Just lost one of them and wanted to have more that didn't work out.
Question:	Can those balls be used for drying featherfilled jackets in order to make them fluffy
Answer:	Hi there! I can't guarantee that it will make your feather filled jackets fluffier, but I can say it will soften them and help dry them quicker. Whitmor's 6754-3655 Dryer Balls are made from non-toxic materials.

Answer:	We use a material that minimizes the noise. However, the amount and type of laundry used with the drying balls also has an impact on the amount of noise you’ll experience.

Answer:	I've been using them for several weeks now and they are not collecting any hair. My cat's hair seems to all be caught by the lint filter on the dryer.

Question:	Where are these made? Where do they ship from
Answer:	They are made in New Zealand. Not sure where they ship from.
Question:	I have an extreme amount of static. If I don't use dryer sheets, the clothes are not wearable from static. Will the balls eliminate dryer static
Answer:	They do help, but don't over dry your items. Some items I never dry in the dryer, such as nylon or rayon. But as far as cottons, jeans, slacks. I haven't had a problem with static. Just use common sense and you should have no problems using the dryer balls. I do sprinkle a drop or two of esssential oils on the balls to put a little fragrance on the clothes, especiallly my husbands work clothes. I usually use lemon, lavendar, or tangerine.
Question:	Why are there 6 of them? How many do you use in a load and how long do they last? Thank you
Answer:	The number of balls I use depends on the size of the load. I use 4 for small, 4 to 5 for medium and 6 for large. It's my understanding that they can last for 2 years depending on use. This is an experiment for me and so far so good. It lessens the dry time, the clothes seem to be less wrinkled and there is no smell/odor from the wool.
Question:	Where are these manufactured? The description says the wool itself is from NZ, but gives no indication where the balls are manufactured
Answer:	The wool is from NZ but based on the horrible English translation in the instructions, I’d bet they’re NOT made there.
