Here are some key points about adhesive removers for fabric:
Types of Adhesive Removers: There are different types of adhesive removers available, including solvent-based and water-based options. Solvent-based removers tend to be more effective on tough adhesives but may require more caution when used.
Usage: To use an adhesive remover on fabric, you typically apply a small amount of the product to the affected area. Follow the product's instructions, which often involve letting it sit for a short period to loosen the adhesive. Then, gently rub or blot the area to remove the residue. It's important to test the remover on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first to ensure it doesn't cause any damage or discoloration.
Safety Precautions: Adhesive removers can contain strong chemicals, so it's essential to use them in a well-ventilated area and follow the safety recommendations on the product label. Additionally, avoid contact with your skin and eyes and keep them out of reach of children.
Stain Concerns: Some adhesive removers may leave behind an oily or greasy residue on the fabric, which can be a concern if not properly cleaned. After using the adhesive remover, it's a good idea to wash the fabric according to its care instructions to remove any leftover residue.
Variety of Uses: Adhesive removers for fabric are not limited to just kitchen and household cleaning. They can also be handy for removing stickers or labels from clothing, upholstery, and other fabric surfaces.

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the difference between the original goo gone, 4 oz bottle that had for years, and the newer pro power, gel, spay... i am confused |
Answer: | Spray seems thinner |
Question: | Would this work on an old solid wood desk without damaging the stain? It has stickers that have been stuck on it for roughly 4 years |
Answer: | If the instructions say not to use it on wood. I wouldn't. You might look for paint remover that is made for wood. That stuff removes dried paint. I would bet it would remove the stickers; also, the finish on your item. |
Question: | Will this remove putty stuck to a blanket |
Answer: | Yes, be sure to wash the blanket afterwards with extra detergent and warm water. |
Question: | Is this a squirt top or open, pour bottle top |
Answer: | It is a pour bottle, and it comes out fast. I recommend making a small hole in the foil seal rather than removing it completely when you first open the bottle, it makes dispensing a small amount much easier. |

User questions & answers
Question: | I just installed a new vinyl bathroom floor. The glue used has left a residue over the tiles. Will this product remove it |
Answer: | Yes. It will require some elbow grease in heavy areas but mostly just spray this 3m product on , let set a few minutes and wipe off. The small square plastic fiber mesh pot scrubbers will help in heavy areas. Just apply, scrub and wipe off with a clean cloth. |
Question: | I am replacing the weather stripping on my RV. Will this clean the old adhesive from the surface |
Answer: | I use it to remove adhesive from wheel weights inside of my aluminum wheels. It turns the glue/adhesive to jelly. Spray on surface, let it work on the glue a little bit. Spray some on rag and use some elbow grease to rub off. Repeat until all glue is off. 2 or 3 times depending on how much glue to remove. Use in very well ventilated area. Best adhesive remover I’ve ever used! |
Question: | Can it be used on hardwood floors |
Answer: | We only sell this for automotive applications, so I'm not sure the answer to this. Thank you, |
Question: | Will this spoil the finish on cars |
Answer: | Your mileage may vary due to difference in finishes, but I used many repeated applications (with a lot of elbow grease) to remove some orange paint from a small construction vehicle that backed into it, and the orange paint came off with no damage to the finish on my car. |

The Super Glue Sidekick
Super glue dries quick and sometimes it gets in places you never intended. With a super glue remover on hand, you can easily remove cured super glue from many surfaces.
How does it work?
Damn Good Super Glue Remover - Cleaner is a solvent based product that breaks down the cured glue, transforming it from a hardened state to a gummy, gel-like consistency, making it easy to wipe or scrape away.
Where can I use your Super Glue Remover?
As a chemical solvent, care should be taken when using. We suggest trying the product in a discreet area of the affected item to ensure there is no staining, discoloring, damage, or other issue. Apply the product, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, wipe away and check for any issues before proceeding with its use on the area with the cured adhesive.
What You'll Need
To remove cured (dried) super glue, you'll need a bottle of Damn Good Super Remover - Cleaner and a cotton ball, or something similar.
Pour Glue Remover
Simply pour the super glue remover directly onto the cotton ball so that it is saturated but not dripping.
Apply Saturated Material
Set the cotton ball on the cured super glue and let it sit for 2-3 minutes. The glue should start to appear gummy. Depending on the amount of glue that needs to be removed, you may need to repeat this process.
Scrape Softened Glue
Once the cured glue turns to a semi-gelatinous state it is ready to be removed. At this point, you can either scrape the glue or wipe it away with a cloth. Repeat as necessary.
