Answer:	Even though it says Carpet Stain Remover, I use it on all my washable laundry items for spot stains. I also carry a folex filled travel size hair spray bottle in my purse at all times for those pesky times I get food stains on my clothing. As with most stains the sooner you can remove the stain, the better. It is the best product I have ever found and also works well with cat stains. Label contains a warning for sulfite sensitive individuals; they may experience a severe allergic reaction if exposed to this product. Bottom Line: there is NO mention or recommendation to use this on clothing. It is for carpet use only.

Answer:	you do need to use more of the trigger spray vs. aerosol no matter what you are cleaning. This is one of the differences I have found. I let it soak longer before blotting it up also.

Answer:	I have utilized Folex for 6 yrs. or more and on any/everything. Various fabrics and materials; Carpets-furniture-pillows-mattress-drapes-clothing. I have not experienced any type of discoloration be it leaching, bleaching or otherwise. It leaves no physical or odor residue; needs no rincing nor clean up afteruse. I was most impressed with results when used on boxed/stored sweaters. Unknown at the time, Army contacted packers in Germany had enclosed some hand tools with the sweaters. Stored for year and before box was unpacked, an OK. tornado dropped our 2 story storage barn. Several years later, a friend was using Folex sent to her on a carpet spot when her dog had thrown up. Using a slightly moist cloth to cleaned up the reminents she then sprayed spot with Folex; spot disappeared before my eyes. Humm. I borrowed to try on my sweaters. Answer:	My non-expert answer is that a spot is more surface and a stain is more soaked in. Folex will handle most of the small ones, 1" to 6". Others may take a stronger, more industrial application. But for quick clean up of spills and other small stains (especially recent ones) Folex works. I once went out of state and rented a room in someone's basement. The former renter was a student, and spilled drinks and food on the carpet. It took several applications and scrubbings on some spots/stains, but Folex took care of them all.

Answer:	Yes!I just cleaned a baby rocking chair. It has corduroy cushions off white color. "Baby" is almost 11 yo now. The chair was in a hot attic for years. Answer:	Yes. I used it on a coil spring mattress with a slim memory foam top and just sprayed and left it on with a mattress cover over it (you could use towels as well) and just left it like that. Next time I checked the stains had disappeared. Worked perfectly.

Answer:	I have tried to use this on ink and it helps, but doesn't completely get it out. I would highly recommend good old hair spray! Hair spray has been a go-to for any kind of ink stain. Try it on a small area first. The hairspray will help break down the ink and then you can use something else to remove it. Good luck!

Answer:	If you use this in an upright cleaner, you will waste a lot of money. This solution is diluted for smaller handheld/spot cleaners. Question:	Does this work on vomit stains
Answer:	We have Shaw Carpet. This is the only thing that is recommended to clean it other than dish washing liquid. However, if you use dish washing liquid it adds another step which is rinsing. If you don't rinse that out, it'll attract everything and make things worse. I've used this for a couple of years now for vomit. Our cat (for some insane reason) always has to vomit on the carpet. I've been lucky a few times to place him on the tile before he vomited, or a paper towel to catch it, but usually by morning time, there it is on the carpet....it's like he's been deprived of the experience and has now succeeded. ha! Anywho, this stuff really works on that nasty vomit which is usually a green/yellow color. Lightly scrape the 'chunks' off the top of the rug, then apply a good spraying of this stuff. Let that sit up to 15 minutes, if needed. Then grab an old t-shirt (cut up) and press on the areas to let the moisture wick up into it. You'll probably have to do this a few times, but the stain will get less and less apparent each time. How you'll know for sure it's gone is when you press the t shirt down, you see no more vomit color. Works like a charm every time!

Answer:	I've never used Stain Rx, but this stuff from Shaw is really great. It works on upholstery as well. We have cats who frequently gift us with hairballs. The Shaw cleaner is the only product we've used that gets the stains out effectively with no rinsing and no reappearance of the spot.
