When using Smart Clean in a carpet cleaner, make sure you use considerably less than the dilution of the "light cleaning" instructions on the bottle. We would recommend 1/2 oz per quart, other wise you will get too many bubbles and will take going over the carpet more times to remove all the solution. We have mainly seen Smart Clean used as a spot remover. It works very well for this. There are so many different carpet cleaners, it is hard to say how Smart Clean would work in all of them. Let us know how it turns out.

Question:	Can you use on urine stains and oders
Answer:	If you have bought this product to kill covid19 or flu viruses it is not going to work and you are actually putting yourself at risk to believe it "fights germs". That said it does smell nice and works well to clean and is pet friendly. It's just doesn't do anything else. Like protect you.

Answer:	This product is excellent for dissolving cooked on grease on a stove top. It doesn’t remove rust in my experience.

Answer:	My gas range top is black (shiny) and it works well. For me, I make sure after cleaning with the cleaner, I wipe it down with either a clean soft cloth or a paper towel to remove any residue.

Answer:	I realize that this question was posted quite awhile ago, but I was wondering the same thing so thought I would report that I checked out the Method web site. Under the Ingredients for this product it only states "5% citric acid and 95% inert ingredient, please contact us with any other questions". I have never seen a cleaning product that does not list all ingredients. I intend to email them to find out what the other 95% of the bottle contains, because whatever is in this product smells so overwhelmingly bad it gave me an instant migraine. It is not the citric acid because I have used other products with citric acid and have not had such a reaction. All ingredients should be listed so that chemically sensitive people can be forewarned.
