Question:	Does this work on piedrafina marble
Answer:	I've used it on dark grey slate with good results and also a ceramic mug. The mug was black so it produced a nice effect. If your marble is light colored, it might etch, but probably won't show well.
Question:	What could I use to print on to create my own stencil that will stick strong enough to glass to avoid bleed but can be removed easily after etching
Answer:	If you are good with a fine paintbrush here's what I did. Before I went into teaching I made a pretty good living etching on glasses and bottles. I drew the pictures on scraps of paper, then attached the paper to the inside of the glass with removable glue (like rubber cement or school stick glue) and painted the etching solution onto the glass where I wanted it to etch. I really liked the effect because the deeper etches were put on first and then I built out to thin layers. It was a great shading effect.
Question:	will this work on Pyrex? I know the description said it won't but I am wondering if anyone has tried it. thanks in advance
Answer:	Pyrex 9x13 was one of my first projects and it's beautiful...which created my addiction to glass etching. I have used the two kinds of pie plates, and several different casserole dishes. It does state that the etching cream does not work on Pyrex, but so far everything has come out great! I actually watched YouTube videos on it.

Answer:	Dear Kiatin,I have two bottles each 10 ounces. For the past six months, I opened one, and used this for etching many bottles and glasses. I see the level of the content in the opened bottle barely dropping. I can only assume, that one bottle goes a long, long way!

Question:	Do you think that cardstock will be heavy enough of a stencil to use for this? Or will the cream destroy it and bleed
Answer:	You have to leave it on for about 10 minutes so it may bleed in the ends and make your edges fuzzy. Best thing I found was clear contact paper. Try your method out on a small piece of something you don't care about before you go at it for real to see what's going to happen.
Question:	can I draw by hand on glass using a fine brush to apply this cream
Answer:	The cream is really thin and runny so I think it would run and/or smear while applying it, also it works best to get it as thick of a layer in as possible and with a brush the layer would be thin

Answer:	According to my research it won't. If you look on Pinterest it will give you step by step instructions on how to etch stainless steel.

Question:	Will this work on acrylic
Answer:	It's a runny paste so doesn't easily pour or form drops. For small areas, I apply using a cotton swab. Working near a sink is handy, so the part can be rinsed when the etching time is complete. Definitely wear rubber gloves or food service plastic gloves and safety glasses, in case of splash when rinsing. Armour Etch will attack aluminum and pottery and ceramic surfaces, so stainless sinks are also recommended. Rinse the cotton swabs after use and before disposal.
Question:	does a brush come with this
Answer:	I am sorry, but I did not use this for etching projects. I used it on a pair of glasses which used about two tsp to coat about 16 square inches. There are probably about 18 teaspoons in the 3 oz bottle. It does appear that it would go a very long way on projects.
Question:	Can i use this to seal vinyl on glass
Answer:	Yes, the etch will remain after wet, and in fact permanently. It appears to be a reductive process that chemically removes or alters the glass itself. I used it on some pint glasses and they are still dishwasher safe with no loss of etched image.
Question:	My order says delivered and I have not received it
Answer:	There are directions on the bottle, follow them precisely. This is best for crafting images onto glass.

Answer:	No, it does not come with a brush.

Answer:	No. It's not going to seal anything. You use vinyl to outline what you want to etch and then peel the vinyl off. It doesn't affect the vinyl at all, no matter how long you leave the cream on for. And leaving it on for a long time also doesn't make the etch deeper, either. It only goes to a certain amount.
Question:	Can you see through this when you lay it over an area you want to protect

Question:	Will this cut vinyl decals
Answer:	I would recommend against it. The laser uses concentrated light and as such generates a lot of heat. The vinyl material may (probably) release toxic gasses and the heat will likely distort the material. For cutting decals I recommend something like a Cricut.
Question:	I am wanting to engrave in leather and cow hide. Which watts would you suggest? Also would be doing wood but main focus is leather and hide
Answer:	I own the 20 watt model and would recommend it. The 15 watt would get the job done but suggest getting the 20 watt.
Question:	Is wifi required on this unit all the time
Answer:	No. The machine only needs to be connected to a computer for operation. No need to connect to the Internet. You can operate the machine offline.
Question:	What do have to set the unit on or can I just set it on a table without anything under it
Answer:	I would suggest that you place a 24" x 24" non flamable piece under the unit. For example, i placed mine on a table, but placed a 2 SF piece of tile under it in the event the laser burnt through whatever i was cutting. This was just a precautiinary measure. I picked one up at a local tile liquidation store for $2.00.

Question:	Can i use with a window based computer or does it have to be a MAC
Answer:	We just got out of a Cricut class tonight, 10/14/2019) at a local Michaels. We (my wife and I) both downloaded the DesignSpace software in class from the Cricut website to our Windows 10 laptops and after downloading a small Windows add-in, were able to launch DesignSpace, create and cut projects successfully from out laptops. We also had out Apple iPads and downloaded the Apple Store DesignSpace app and had no problem using them to design and cut. Can’t speak about the Mac though...
Question:	I am looking to get my first Cricut machine. Will the faster speed matter or should I save some money and get the previous version to learn on
Answer:	The only difference between the air1 and air2 is the speed of the cut and the color options for the machines. I have the air2 and I honestly haven't even tried the faster cutting option because I've been cutting really delicate things and I was afraid that it would rip the material at a faster speed. I guess this question depends on how much you would use it and for what. I don't, by any means, think the air1 is "slow".
Question:	I want a machine to cut out my own designs from photoshop/illustrator, I'm not interested in any of the library images etc. Can this do this, well
Answer:	Through personal experience, the Cricut Design Space software let’s you upload svg files, but not ai or eps. The best advice for cutting images from Illustrator is to use a USCutter instead, it uses a software called Sure Cuts A Lot and works with alot of file types (ai, eps, svg)
