Cleaning them out with rubbing alcohol followed by a light wipe of some sort of silicone-based lubricant would be much cheaper and ultimately, probably more effective overall, though if the actual electrical contacts are really bad, it would be helpful to use DeoxIt specifically on those - but don't waste it wiping out the whole socket with the stuff. Obviously, you should flip the breaker or remove the fuse before working on a chandelier no matter what you're doing with it.

The 409B Electrosolve Contact Cleaner is a very fast drying and zero residue contact cleaner. It is effective at dissolving oils and non-polar residues, and for assisting with the removal of oxidation using a brush. It cleans connectors, contacts, circuit breakers, microprocessors, and LED and PCB components.
